You might remember when this accident happened 8 years ago this March.
This Flight from Vegas overshot the runway at Burbank.
The plane smashed past the airport fence, careened across the street and ended up with a collapsed landing gear, right next to a gas station.
But that’s not the amazing part. Look at the gasoline prices published on the sign in the background.

Way under two dollars? Those WERE the good ol’ days. Hope those happy days will be here again soon.
Welcome to NGL, Peter!
LOVE this.
BTW: Thought of you yesterday when I noticed that The Arizona Republic has started a monthly health feature aimed at Boomers. It’s pretty good, actually, including some fairly solid expert advice. This month’s was about sports/exercise and aging and all those lovely injuries that can start popping up in your 40′s and 50′s. I’m dealing with Plantar Fasciitis myself, so this was timely.
Hope you’re doing well!
Kristin
