Yesterday I did my part by sending the following letter to my Congressman Jerry Lewis requesting support for Ron Paul‘s bill to audit the Federal Reserve. Please go to the link below to see a list of Congressional sponsors, and if your Congressman is currently not on the confirmed roster, please copy the sample letter and send it to your Representative as soon as possible.
Ask yourself this question: If the Federal Reserve sent every US Citizen a disclosure letter that said, “Dear American, we just wanted to let you know that we have every intention of making everyone in America poor, therefore, we will continue to feed trillions of dollars to offshore banks and corporations…..” would you stand idly by? Of course not. Then, why would any Congressman allow the Federal Reserve to operate in total secrecy by not supporting this bill, thereby opposing full disclosure and accountability of the Federal Reserve to the taxpayers? More importantly, why would Americans not demand support from their Congressman.
American citizens can demand full accountability from the Federal Reserve by supporting HR 1207 which calls for the Federal Reserve to be audited. An audit will require them to disclose where the trillions of our taxpayer dollars are being distributed; exposing the system of siphoning wealth of hard working Americans and giving trillions to undeserving offshore corporations and banks.
In my opinion, this is one of the most revolutionary pieces of legislation that has been brought before our legislature in many generations. It represents the most peaceful form of revolt that American citizens can participate in. Thank you for your letter! You doing something outsiode bitching like most people! I support you, your letter and ask you to keep moving forward! I serve as co-chairman in Congress (I had to give a hell of a lot of money) but it puts me face to face with congress and the president! I will fight until I drop! Its a scam on the people of this country and we need to wake people up! Good luck
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. It is vital that we usher in an Age of Transparency and make our elected officials culpable for their decisions and/or negligence.
You ask, “…why would Americans not demand support from their Congressman?” I think it is because the majority of “We the People” do not yet believe they have REAL power for change.
Average people still do not truly think they have a voice…past election day. This must change.
I applaud your efforts because, by using “social media” effectively, you promote awareness. We can make a change if we are cohesive, stand together, and are aware of the facts.
I am tired of the abuses by both state and federal government. We would not be experiencing multiple crisis events if there was full transparency of government activities.
