The lawsuit alleges that members of the Saudi Royal Family visited Rochester Minnesota at the globally known “Mayo Institute” and stayed at the Kahler Marriot. Plaintiff Gretchen Cooper describes her experience as a driver of one of the Saudi “Princesses” in 2008 and 2010. Ms. Cooper describes shopping sprees with the Saudi royals with brief cases full of money; $100,000 shopping days; large, gluttonous buys of Alli brand diet pills amount to $20,000+, gift buying, and periodic shopping episodes whereby Best Buy and Sam’s Club were opened exclusively for the Saudi Family to shop privately. Ms. Cooper was suddenly fired by the Saudi Family one day when she was asked to go to the Kahler Marriot and she was ordered to turn in her keys. Gretchen was told she was being terminated because the Saudi Prince did not a woman driving his family members.
