Today on The Pete Santilli Show, Pete welcomes guest, Charles Heller, the President of the Jews For the Preservation of Firearms Ownership.
Heller grew up in Chicago, where he had an air gun range in the basement of his Grandfather’s house on Melrose street.
He attended Lane Tech High School, and Northern Illinois University.
Charles moved to Arizona in 1978, specifically for the right to keep and bear arms, as his native Chicago would no longer allow handguns.
At age 11, he fired his first handgun, his Dad’s 1911, at Bell’s Range in Suburban Chicago. “It made music so sweet, I have never lost the tune,” he says.
He is the son of a law enforcement officer and a music teacher, and his Grandfather was a Judge. He says, “I knew what certiori meant, before I learned the infield fly rule.”
Charles is one of four co-founders of the Arizona Citizens Defense Leage, the group which obtained Constitutional carry in Arizona. AzCDL dot org.
He is the Executive Director of Jews For the Preservation of Firearms Ownership, a Wisconsin based 501 c 3, dedicated to eradicating all gun control. JPFO dot org.

Charles has 3 radio programs on AM 1030 KVOI Tucson, Swap Shop, Liberty Watch, and America Armed & Free, sunday, from 10 AM – 2PM. The archive is at Liberty Watch Radio dot com.
His hobbies include reading, naval history, and visiting historic ships. He has been to 22 of the 27 submarines on display in the U.S., and 2 that are not on display, including going to sea for a day on the USS Tucson.
He has 2 adult children, 34 and 32. Both are happy, successful individuals, who know how to think for themselves, not initiate force or fraud against others, and shoot.
