Napoleón Gómez struggle for union democracy and for the respect and dignity of workers is well known worldwide. He has served as general secretary of the National Mining and Metal Workers Union in Mexico since his unanimous election in 2002 and unanimous reelection to a new six-year term in 2008. He was elected president of the union in 2012. Gomez is a member of the executive committee of IndustriALL Global Union, the most powerful union organization with more than 50 million members worldwide. He works closely with leaders of unions around the world, including the United Steelworkers Union of North America.
An Oxford-educated economist, Gómez previously graduated with honors from the Department of Economics at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. For twelve years, he served as director of the Mexican Mint, and is the only Mexican to serve as international president of the Mint Directors Conference, a position he held for two years.
Gómez was the 2011 recipient of the AFL-CIO’s prestigious International Meany-Kirkland Human Rights Award, and in the same year, he was nominated for the Edelstam Prize and the Arthur Svensson International Prize for Trade Union Rights.
In 2006, after a series of credible and repeated threats against his family in Mexico, Gómez sought and won permanent residency in Canada, and relocated with his family to Vancouver, British Columbia. Since then he has directed all Union activities from Canada and continues to build solidarity and support for better working conditions in Mexico and around the world. He remains an outspoken activist and advocate for social justice and human rights.

10:00am – 10:30am
Pete and Susannah have a light and loose beginning. They say hello to their listeners and give a brief synopsis of what is happening on the show today.
10:30 – 11:00
Pete talks with Susannah about Adam Kokesh being locked up for carrying his arms in Washington DC. Pete talks about how he stands behind Adam for being a true patriot. Napoleon Gomez comes on the air with Pete to talk about employee rights.
11:00am – 11:30am
Napoleon Gomez continues to discuss labor laws in the United States and Mexico. Pete and Napoleon discuss unions, the exploitation of workers, amnesty and NAFTA. Pete and Susannah talk about immigration problems.
11:30am – 12:00pm
Pete and Susannah discuss Mexican workers and immigration. Pete reports that Adam Kokesh has been arrested for having psychedelic mushrooms while in possession of fire arms. They found the mushrooms when they were looking for weapons. Pete rants about how wrong it is for someone to be arrested for a victim-less crime.
12:00pm – 12:30pm
Patrick Henningson comes on the air for the Bunker News Break. Pete and Patrick discuss what happened with Adam Kokesh. Adam’s house was broken into without a warrant and a flash grenade was thrown in. Patrick states that this is a fear tactic to prevent people from standing up for their rights.
Patrick says the iron curtain has been drawn on the protection of our rights.
12:30pm – 1:00pm
Patrick and Pete talk about how much worse Obama is then they ever could have imagined. NSA admits they have been data basing Columbian drug traffickers. Pete plays an audio clip of a credible woman stating the violence of the Syrian rebels torturing objectors. Pete says he is removing a Hagmann show from the network because he had Posel on his show lying.
1:00pm – 1:30pm
Pete brings Alazar on the line, who states that all victim-less laws should be repealed to save the taxpayers billions of dollars. Alex calls in to say he back up Adam Kokesh. Nemo calls in to ask some questions about Kokesh. Miss Jones calls in.
1:30pm – 2:00pm
Pete reports the case number with CPS in which Posel’s child was found riding his bike down a highway. Pete takes a call from Chris in Canada in regards to Adam Kokesh’s arrest. Viper calls in to support Adam Kokesh. Commentman, Rod and Smitty call in to support Adam Kokesh.
