O’Reilly refers to network news organizations as “main stream media”.  Looks like FOX has gone mainstream again with irrelevant, diversionary coverage of an event.  Recently, FOX News has totally avoided covering topics and demanding accountability related to America’s economic meltdown.

Government officials were asleep at the wheel.  Business executives such as Countrywide’s Anthony Mozilo have received over $110 million dollars in severence pay from a company that raked billions of bad loans into the subprime pit. Fannie & Freddie are a wreck.

No individuals seem to be accepting blame or held accountable for one of the largest thefts of American wealth in our nation’s history.  Main stream news outlets such as FOX have opted to cover stories about Alligators and murderous mommies versus investigating individuals who, at minimum deserve jailtime for their buffoonery.
