In some heated back and forths, Democrat witnesses exposed positions that will make your stomach turn.<\/p>\n<p>For example, an abortion doctor made the claim that someone is not a \u201chuman being\u201d until they are physically born.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">.<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepMikeJohnson?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@RepMikeJohnson<\/a>: &#8220;How does one qualify as fully human? What makes a human being?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Dem pro-abortion witness: &#8220;What makes a person a human being is them being born&#8230;That&#8217;s why we have birthdays.&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/2QgARHliyQ\">pic.twitter.com\/2QgARHliyQ<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Townhall.com (@townhallcom) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/townhallcom\/status\/1526941461522092032?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 18, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s hard to fathom how someone can so smugly proclaim such evil, but that\u2019s exactly what we see in that video clip. The idea that having a birthday bestows humanity on someone is a despicable assertion. Those are the kinds of arguments that justified slavery. Besides, it\u2019s scientifically untrue. We know that a baby in the womb is a human being, and to say it isn\u2019t is lunacy. But the left will say just about anything to support their lust for abortion.<\/p>\n<p>Later, Chip Roy pegged the same witness down on how late she\u2019s aborted a baby and whether she\u2019s handled baby parts, a common occurrence in abortion clinics. She laughably objected, claiming Roy was using \u201cinflammatory language.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s not the clip I\u2019m writing this article for, though. Rather, I want to point to one of the pro-life witnesses, Catherine Glenn Foster of Americans United for Life, who managed to completely elbow drop Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD). You may know Raskin from his <a href=\"https:\/\/redstate.com\/bonchie\/2022\/04\/22\/top-democrat-january-6th-investigation-revelations-blow-the-roof-off-the-house-n554400\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">leadership role<\/a> on the January 6th committee.<\/p>\n<p>This is what happens when Democrats are actually challenged on their views regarding abortion (or any topic, really). One of the most common misdirections the left uses to justify the barbaric practice until birth is the topic of rape and incest. It doesn\u2019t matter that such instances represent a tiny fraction of abortions, with most estimates coming in around <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/1989\/10\/13\/us\/rape-and-incest-just-1-of-all-abortions.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">one percent<\/a>, Democrats do not want to talk about the realities of what they actually support. Because of that, they constantly hide behind a facade of concern about rape and incest exceptions.<\/p>\n<p>In this case, Foster was ready with the perfect rebuttal. She immediately asks Raskin, \u201cIf we added rape and incest exemptions, would you vote for it?\u201d That left the Democrat rushing to \u201creclaim\u201d his time so he could keep reading his prepared statement without answering the question.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Raskin: &#8220;The GOP witness is calling for a nationwide ban on abortions with no exceptions for rape and incest.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Foster: &#8220;If we added rape and incest exceptions, would you vote for it?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Raskin: &#8220;Reclaiming my time.&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/Z79apd2hcS\">pic.twitter.com\/Z79apd2hcS<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Greg Price (@greg_price11) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/greg_price11\/status\/1526979278532923392?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 18, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Why can\u2019t he answer it? Because Raskin knows as well as anyone else that bringing up rape and incest is a red herring. Republicans could come out today offering full federal legalization of abortion in the case of rape and incest while banning elective abortions and not a single Democrat would sign onto the bill. Given that, there\u2019s no reason to even talk about rape and incest in these discussions because it\u2019s obviously irrelevant.<\/p>\n<p>Raskin is a mental weakling, though, and he thought he could snipe at the Foster without getting any pushback. She had other ideas, and watching her smirk in response to his idiocy is just priceless. Make Democrats own what they support. Stop letting them dance around the realities of abortion.
