During her appearance, Pelosi told the contestants she was proud of them and thanked them \u201cfor the joy and beauty they bring to the world.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYour freedom of expression of yourselves in drag is what America is all about,\u201d she added. \u201cI say that all the time to my friends in drag.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Her\u00a0<\/span>appearance<\/span><\/a>\u00a0this week wasn\u2019t the first on one of RuPaul\u2019s shows. She was also on \u201cRuPaul\u2019s Drag Race\u201d in 2018.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis idea of people believing in themselves, being themselves, taking pride in themselves, is not just a lesson for politicians but for everyone in the country. Pelosi did not let this week\u2019s appearance go without making a political statement. \u201cWith the midterm elections coming up, it\u2019s very important for people to make their voices and their vote heard,\u201d she said.<\/span><\/p>\n
