{"id":4419,"date":"2022-07-20T10:27:58","date_gmt":"2022-07-20T10:27:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/petersantilli.com\/?p=4419"},"modified":"2022-07-20T10:45:16","modified_gmt":"2022-07-20T10:45:16","slug":"video-man-receives-warrantless-atf-visit-for-purchasing-more-than-two-guns-at-a-time","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/petersantilli.com\/?p=4419","title":{"rendered":"Video: Man Receives Warrantless ATF Visit For Purchasing \u2018More Than Two Guns At A Time\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>July 20, 2022 at 06:24AM <a href=\"https:\/\/ift.tt\/RXOIArB\">Video: Man Receives Warrantless ATF Visit For Purchasing \u2018More Than Two Guns At A Time\u2019<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/truthsocial.com\/@petesantilli\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3434\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/petersantilli.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/TRUTH_720x90-e1653130425320.png?resize=728%2C90&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"728\" height=\"90\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"ifw-player\" data-video-id=\"62d7339e966aac1228480cf5\"><\/div>\n<p><script src=\"https:\/\/infowarsmedia.com\/js\/player.js\" async=\"\"><\/script><\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>A Delaware man\u2019s home security camera captured the moment two ATF agents and a Delaware State Police trooper showed up at his house to verify he still had possession of firearms he had recently purchased.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The homeowner provided footage of the incident to <a href=\"https:\/\/armedamericannews.org\/video-atf-conducts-surprise-firearm-inspection-at-mans-home-without-search-warrant\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Armed American News<\/em> (AAN)<\/a>, which published the videos on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>When the officers arrived at the Delaware man\u2019s door, he asked how he could help them and learned the trio was assigned to a task force investigating potential straw purchases.<\/p>\n<p>A straw purchase is when a person knowingly buys a gun for an individual who is not allowed to obtain one.<\/p>\n<p>The man being questioned by the federal agency told <em>AAN<\/em> he had bought seven guns since January 2022.<\/p>\n<p>One agent told the citizen the ATF had to check on him because he purchased more than two firearms, adding, \u201cYou\u2019ve done nothing wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll I\u2019m doing is verifying that you have it, you got two different purchases,\u201d he said, pointing to a paper document apparently showing proof of purchase. \u201cIf you have them, I\u2019m out of here. That\u2019s how quick it is. Do you have them with you by any chance?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When the homeowner told the three armed men his guns were in his safe, the lead ATF agent asked him to \u201cunload them and bring them out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Continuing, the agent said, \u201cThere\u2019s an email from the federal side saying, \u2018Can you make sure this guy\u2019s got his guns?\u2019 If you recently purchased a whole bunch of guns, if we can look at them and just scratch them off.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Another agent told the homeowner if he\u2019d just let them check the serial numbers on his recently purchased guns, they wouldn\u2019t have \u201cto come back.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to the man who was hassled by the federal agency, he got one rifle out of his safe and let the officers inspect its serial number.<\/p>\n<p>After asking if he had to get the rest of his weapons out of the safe, the agents told the man it wouldn\u2019t be necessary and went on their way.<\/p>\n<p>In retrospect, the homeowner feels he was bullied into giving his consent for the property search and is \u201cembarrassed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy neighbors saw the whole thing \u2013 guys in these police vests standing in my yard,\u201d he explained. \u201cI was really uncomfortable. I felt really confused, like I was in some way being accused of something even though I didn\u2019t commit a crime. It was quite embarrassing. I knew they couldn\u2019t come in, but I didn\u2019t know what to do. I didn\u2019t want to get put on some watch list.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/armedamericannews.org\/joe-biden-pressuring-his-home-state-for-gun-control-to-score-a-political-victory\/\">We just got new gun laws here.<\/a>\u00a0I didn\u2019t want them coming back again.
