The bitter and corrupt Attorney General on New York, social justice warrior Letitia James is on the hot seat this week as Republican members of Congress demand some consequences into the massive abuse of power James has displayed going after President Donald J. Trump, in what appears to me some nasty political theater to help aid her failing re-elecion bid.<\/p>\n
James has been expolition her authority for some solid bread and circuses ahead of the November election and some GOP members are sick of what they are seeing- and demanding it stop.<\/p>\n
“Half a dozen Republican members of Congress have written a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland calling for a Justice Department investigation into New York Attorney General Letitia \u201cTish\u201d James over the latest in a line of brazenly partisan shenanigans from her office,” Biz Pac review reported, adding:<\/p>\n
“The representatives who are all from New York are requesting the federal probe after former South Carolina governor and U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley\u2019s nonprofit group Stand For America had its tax filings, along with donor information, leaked to Politico which published them.<\/p>\n
The documents bore the stamp of the New York State Attorney General\u2019s office which is headed up by James who has repeatedly abused her position to pursue political vendettas, particularly against former President Donald J. Trump and his family.”<\/p>\n
\u201cThe release of Stand For America\u2019s donor records is extremely concerning,\u201d Rep. Nicole Malliotakis said in a statement to Fox News Digital. \u201cNot only does it jeopardize protections non-profits are afforded under federal law, but it also sets a dangerous precedent of political weaponization by a state Attorney General.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThis leak warrants an immediate investigation by the Department of Justice,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
