Trump, and Roger Stone represents all of the people who think that is a terrible idea.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stone, a political icon, appeared to talk about it with Ric Prado, Patrick Bet-David, and Adam Sosnick  about a potential Trump vs. DeSantis matchup in 2024 back in May in an epic discussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"jetpack-video-wrapper\"><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/IyGMO7wGmSI?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Human Events reported on Stone&#8217;s point of view: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Former Trump adviser Roger Stone wants to give Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis a piece of advice: to stay out of the running in the 2024 presidential election. According to Stone, to run against Trump in 2024, would amount to treachery and ingratitude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stone posted his cautionary message to DeSantis on\u00a0Telegram\u00a0on Wednesday, calling the governor \u201cRon DeSanctimonius.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIf Governor Ron DeSantis challenges @realDonaldTrump who has made it clear that he will be a candidate in 2024 it would be the most stunning act of ingratitude and treachery in the history of American politics,\u201d Stone wrote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also repeated the former president\u2019s claim that a Trump endorsement helped DeSantis win the governorship back in 2019\u2013and therefore De Santis should be grateful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the fact that neither Trump nor DeSantis has announced a run for the presidency, Stone warned DeSantis that it would be a \u201cbig mistake\u201d to compete head-on with Trump and schedule any events on the same day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There has been much speculation about Trump and his reactions towards DeSantis being a potential 2024 rival. In October, Maggie Haberman, a reporter for The New York Times, told&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/videos\/politics\/2022\/10\/05\/trump-ron-desantis-haberman-book-ebof-vpx.cnn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CNN<\/a>&nbsp;that Trump&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/trump-constantly-talks-about-ron-desantis-to-his-aides-cnn-2022-10?utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_source=yahoo.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">talks about DeSantis a lot behind the scenes<\/a>, more so than any other GOP contender. And in September,&nbsp;Rolling Stone&nbsp;reported that Trump was&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/trump-raged-desantis-stealing-his-limelight-immigrant-stunt-2022-9?utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_source=yahoo.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">nervous about how much attention DeSantis got<\/a>&nbsp;from a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/photo-essay-two-days-with-50-migrants-on-marthas-vineyard-2022-9?utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_source=yahoo.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">political stunt<\/a>&nbsp;that involved&nbsp;chartering two planes to transport 50 migrants to Martha\u2019s Vineyard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In July, the former president also\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/donald-trump-slams-fox-and-friends-poll-numbers-2022-7?utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_source=yahoo.com\" target=\"_blank\">lashed out at \u201cFox &amp;
