{"id":6713,"date":"2022-12-09T22:23:16","date_gmt":"2022-12-09T22:23:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/petersantilli.com\/?p=6713"},"modified":"2022-12-09T22:23:20","modified_gmt":"2022-12-09T22:23:20","slug":"nbc-scrubs-bombshell-report-that-russia-offered-america-brittney-griner-or-paul-whelan-in-exchange-for-viktor-bout","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/petersantilli.com\/?p=6713","title":{"rendered":"NBC Scrubs Bombshell Report That Russia Offered America Brittney Griner OR Paul Whelan in Exchange for Viktor Bout"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>December 9, 2022 at 05:21PM <em><strong>NBC Scrubs Bombshell Report That Russia Offered America Brittney Griner OR Paul Whelan in Exchange for Viktor Bout<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<div><main><\/p>\n<article>NBC News scrubbed its bombshell report that Russia offered the US Brittney Griner OR former Marine Paul Whelan in exchange for the \u201cMerchant of Death.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Joe Biden on Thursday <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegatewaypundit.com\/2022\/12\/biden-follows-obamas-footsteps-trades-pot-smoking-b-ball-player-top-international-arms-dealer-worlds-wanted-fugitive-victor-bout\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced\u00a0<\/a>he traded the world\u2019s most wanted fugitive, Russian Viktor Bout, AKA, the \u201cMerchant of Death\u201d for pot-smoking anti-American baller Brittney Griner.<\/p>\n<p>The White House on Thursday said Joe Biden did not have a choice.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnfortunately, the choice became to either bring Brittney home or no one,\u201d Karine Jean-Pierre said.<\/p>\n<p>However, according to NBC News, Joe Biden had a choice: Brittney Griner OR Paul Whelan.<\/p>\n<p>Citing a senior government official, NBC News said, \u201c\u2026Russia has treated Whelan differently because he is an accused spy, and that the Kremlin gave the White House the choice of either Griner or Whelan \u2013 or none.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-825126\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.thegatewaypundit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/FjjNkg_XEAIF76E.jpg?resize=1316%2C508&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"1316\" height=\"508\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.thegatewaypundit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/FjjNkg_XEAIF76E.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>NBC scrubbed its initial report after conservatives pointed out it contradicted the White House\u2019s talking points.<\/p>\n<p>NBC\u2019s updated\/scrubbed version of its article stated: \u201c\u2026because [Whelan] is accused of spying and that the Kremlin ultimately gave the White House the choice of Griner or no one after different options were proposed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-825134\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.thegatewaypundit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/FjjNmcOWQAQyLpJ.jpg?resize=900%2C336&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"336\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.thegatewaypundit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/FjjNmcOWQAQyLpJ.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>NBC finally updated with an editor\u2019s note.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAn earlier version of this article misstated the choice the Biden administration was given over hostages.
