RFK Jr. Explains How Democratic Party Is Already \u201cRigging\u201d 2024 Race<\/a><\/p>\n

Alternative Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has accused the Democratic Party of \u201crigging\u201d the primary system to ensure Joe Biden stands a better chance by refusing to hold debates and changing the first primary vote to South Carolina, where Biden is popular, rather than New Hampshire.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Speaking to Breitbart, RFK Jr. noted \u201cThe DNC, at this point, has taken the official position that there will be no debate, and I think that\u2019s unfortunate\u2026 I think what the DNC did to New Hampshire is also unfortunate.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPresident Biden didn\u2019t do well there [New Hampshire]; he came in fifth. So they took New Hampshire, and they kicked it out of first place. And now they\u2019re gonna say \u2014 they\u2019re saying that they\u2019re going to completely remove the delegates from New Hampshire, and that, we should be at this point in history,\u201d RFK Jr. continued.<\/p>\n

He added that New Hampshire has always been the first state to vote in primaries because it is a \u201cgold standard\u201d\u00a0of election integrity and \u201can exemplar for American democracy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s very cheap to campaign in. And it has the largest independent block in the country. And people [don\u2019t] make their minds up until they see the candidates again and again and again, and they shake the candidate\u2019s hands five times before deciding who to vote for,\u201d\u00a0Kennedy Jr. continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey vet these candidates for the whole country, they vet them like you would get vetted if you were running for a city council seat,\u201d he counted, adding \u201cYou have to go in, and handshake people and nail salons and diners, and you get grilled. These candidates get grilled by an 80-year-old woman who reads\u00a0The Economist<\/em>\u00a0and reads the\u00a0Financial Times<\/em>\u00a0every day.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNew Hampshire is the one place where you got to do retail politics, you cannot escape,\u201d he further asserted.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you have so many Americans who are concerned about election integrity, we should be doing everything we can in our party to show that, you know, this is not rigged, rigged system. That it is actually democracy\u2026 and they\u2019re [the DNC] doing kind of the opposite,\u201d\u00a0Kennedy Jr. added.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s too many Americans who already think that the whole system is rigged against them. And this is confirmation of that. And I think that\u2019s troubling,\u201d he further emphasised.<\/p>\n
