BREAKING: Run on the Banks in China

June 20, 2022 at 06:35AM BREAKING: Run on the Banks in China

People are reportedly lining up for hours in China to obtain money from their bank accounts in China.  The large cities of Henan, Shanghai, and Dandong are three cities where the lines are long.

After years of COVID mandates and a government that the average Chinese down deep doesn’t trust, the people of China are scared that they will not be able to retrieve their life savings.  In some cities, people are standing in line for hours to receive their money from their bank.

Recently, freezing depositors’ accounts by four rural banks in Henan has become a hot topic on social media. As a result, customers of these banks could not withdraw their money which led them to move to Zhengzhou, Henan to claim their rights. Following Henan, banks in Shanghai and Dandong (Liaoning) also witnessed a long traffic jam in front of their headquarters.

Depositors in Dandong, Liaoning Province, could not receive their deposits

Youtube channel Zai Ye Shuo posted a video stating that on June 17, many people lined up outside Dandong bank waiting to withdraw their money. The channel wrote, “Done! Bank can’t withdraw money! There was a run on a bank in Dandong, Liaoning, and a thunderstorm on the banks of Henan village caused panic.”

In the video, a long line of depositors can be seen outside Dandong bank, hoping to be able to withdraw their money.

Another video shows the traffic jam at Dandong Bank, Liaoning, on June 16.

Vision times quoted a witness as saying: “When I went to the Rural Commercial Bank, the rural merchants had no money, when I went to Dandong Bank, there were many people, I don’t know in the end whether they got the money or not.

Seeing so many people waiting to withdraw money, a man at the scene said: “It’s been like this these days, it’s like that every day.”

The incident that many depositors in Dandong City, Liaoning Province, could not withdraw their deposits sparked a wave of comments:

“Banking tricks, they purposely tell you to take out so they don’t have to pay interest.”

“Many banks in mainland China are about to collapse! They are closed.”

“The people’s sweat, tears, and riots, heaven will not forgive them.”

“Will future recipients be charged with plotting to overthrow the country?”

“It hurts to see such a great and weak country.”

“People with money in the bank should give it as soon as possible to buy valuables to preserve their value. The bank storm will have a chain reaction. Dandong is just the beginning.. . Let’s see!”

    “Hell on earth, really pitiful”

Steve Bannon warned about China and shared that the people of China would take their money elsewhere in a second if the currency was allowed to leave China.  We are seeing this today.   The people of China don’t trust their banks.

What Bannon said is happening now.

Look at their economy.  It’s not strong.  The real estate market is crashing.  Buildings are sitting empty and there is no money to pay for them.  Evergrande was one casualty of this disaster.

Once the Richest Man in Asia, China Evergrande’s Founder Hui Ka Yan, Now Watches as His Company Faces Insolvency

The people in Asia see it.  This is why China is doing all it can to economically destroy the US.  They feel that they have to.  It will help cover up their imploding economy.  They are happy to destroy the entire world economy if it covers up their weakness.

  • Biden Sends Threat-Letters To Big Oil: Help Ease “Putin Price Hike” Or Face Our Tools

Biden Sends Threat-Letters To Big Oil: Help Ease “Putin Price Hike” Or Face Our Tools

Biden Sends Threat-Letters To Big Oil: Help Ease “Putin Price Hike” Or Face Our Tools

President Biden intensified attacks against the nation’s largest oil companies, writing an “angry” letter to the heads of ExxonMobil, Chevron, BP America, Shell USA, Phillips 66, Marathon, and Valero to boost US refinery output, according to Axios.

“I understand that many factors contributed to the business decisions to reduce refinery capacity, which occurred before I took office,” Biden writes in hopes that everyone is an idiot and incapable of grasping how how green policies have crippled the US energy sector, adding, “at a time of war, refinery profit margins well above normal being passed directly onto American families are not acceptable.”

“My administration is prepared to use all reasonable and appropriate federal government tools and emergency authorities to increase refinery capacity and output in the near term, and to ensure that every region of this country is appropriately supplied,” the president escalated for dramatic effect.

Biden, always happy to blame other but never himself, ended the letter by also scapegoating Putin – not just energy companies – for “driving up costs for consumers.”

“Vladimir Putin’s Price Hike and are driving up costs for consumers. I appreciate your immediate attention to this issue and your efforts to mitigate the economic challenges that Viadimir Putin’s actions have created for American families.”

In effect, Biden is blaming energy companies for his own failures as a president, and not only that – he is also going to beg and grovel in Saudi Arabia while bashing his own domestic producers.

The letter comes a week after the national average for regular gasoline at the pump hit a record high of $5 a gallon. Soaring energy prices have helped drive an unexpected hot consumer price inflation print last week shows peak inflation has yet to be achieved, causing discontent among the vast majority of Americans as the president’s polling data sinks to a new low.

Declining US refinery capacity has nothing to do with Putin’s actions in Ukraine, but instead, Democrats and Wall Street, who’ve been on a crusade over the last several years, pushing for a transition to a low-carbon economy that disincentivized oil companies from reinvesting and expanding refinery capacity. Instead, oil companies were forced to slash capacity by upwards of 1 million barrels from April 2020 to 17.95 million bpd as of June.

Putin has been a frequent strawman abused by what may be the worst administration since Carter, for its failed green transition of the economy and skyrocketing fuel prices.

Of course, no matter how many angry letters the president sends, or what emergency moves he takes like releasing millions of barrels in SPR reserves into the market to prevent a decimation for the Democrats, the bottleneck in refinery capacity cannot be quickly resolved. The lack of understanding of the refinery bottleneck shows just how unseasoned the administration is at tackling the core of the problem months ago.

Americans should blame the fuel crisis on the administration, the Democrats, and Wall Street’s hypocritical ESG movement that has crippled refinery capacity for years, if not forever, just as we warned exactly one year ago in “Will ESG Trigger Energy Hyperinflation”.

Meanwhile, Mike Wirth, the CEO of oil giant Chevron, recently told Bloomberg TV that America’s refining capacity is structurally short, and no new refineries will ever be built in the US again.

Wirth explains his reason: “You’re looking at committing capital ten years out, that will need decades to offer a return for shareholders, in a policy environment where governments around the world are saying, ‘We don’t want these products to be used in the future.’”

Here’s a good reminder of who to blame for the refining bottlenecks in the US that predates “Vladimir Putin’s Price Hike.”

Reuters energy analyst John Kemp is about to lose it on Biden.

Biden also asked big oil for an “explanation” for falling refining capacity. He may as well have addressed the letter to his own White House.

Wholesale prices rose 10.8% in May, near a record annual pace

June 14, 2022 at 04:40PM Wholesale prices rose 10.8% in May, near a record annual pace

Wholesale prices rose at a brisk pace in May as inflation pressures mounted on the U.S. economy, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Tuesday.

The producer price index, a measure of the prices paid to producers of goods and services, rose 0.8% for the month and 10.8% over the past year. The monthly rise was in line with Dow Jones estimates and a doubling of the 0.4% pace in April.

Excluding food, energy and trade, so-called core PPI rose 0.5% on the month, slightly below the 0.6% estimate but an increase from the 0.4% reading in the previous month. On a year-over-year basis, the core measure was up 6.8%, matching April’s gain.

The two PPI measures remained near their historic highs — 11.5% for headline, and 7.1% for core, both hit in March.

The data is significant in that prices at the wholesale level feed through to consumer prices, which are running at their highest levels since December 1981. The consumer price index increased 8.6% annually in May, defying hopes that inflation had peaked in the spring.

Federal Reserve officials are watching the inflation numbers closely. Markets now expect the central bank to raise benchmark short-term borrowing rates by 75 basis points when their two-day meeting concludes Wednesday.

For wholesale prices, energy made up much of the May gains. The index for final demand energy rose 5% on the month, part of a 1.4% surge in final demand goods. The goods-services imbalance has been at the core of the inflation pressures, as consumer demand has shifted strongly in an economy that generally is more dependent on services.

Within that energy gain, gasoline rose 8.4%, while multiple other fuel categories pushed higher as well.

The services index advanced 0.4%, with transportation and warehousing services responsible for more than half the gain. The increases were softened by declines in fuels and lubricants, portfolio management and guest room rentals.

Stock market futures pointed to a rebound following the release. Government bond yields pulled back after massive gains Monday, with the benchmark 10-year note most recently yielding about 3.32%.

Biden Regime Is INTENTIONALLY Causing Inflation & Gas Crisis

June 11, 2022 at 07:14AM Is Biden Purposely Raising Gas Prices to Fuel His Green Agenda?

The national gas average hit a new record of $5.00 a gallon this week, and it doesn’t look like prices are going to fall anytime soon. Americans are frustrated with President Joe Biden’s lies about the economy, and many believe he is at fault for their wallets shrinking.

A new poll conducted by the Trafalgar Group found that over 53 percent of people “believe the Biden administration is intentionally letting gas prices rise to make Americans use less fossil fuels.”

While 56 percent of voters agreed that the high fuel prices is Biden’s fault.

Gas prices have nearly doubled since Biden took office just over a year ago when the national average price was just $2.39.

Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel called out Biden’s energy policies that have caused economic stress on Americans. “Joe Biden’s war on American energy has forced families across the country to empty their wallets to fill their tanks. Unfortunately, Biden is doubling-down on his disastrous agenda because he’s not the one paying the price, the American people are.”

Since Biden has stepped foot into the Oval Office, he has cancelled the Keystone XL Pipeline, imposed restrictions on fossil fuel companies and banned all imports of Russian oil into the U.S., which all caused the spike in fuel prices. Yet, he continues to shift his blame elsewhere, from accusing Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, dubbed as “Putin’s Price Hike,” to saying oil companies and “their greed” are the reason for the pain at the pump.

Backlash as Biden Says High Gas Prices Are Part of ‘Incredible Transition’

President Joe Biden drew a biting rebuke on Twitter and Fox News after saying that record-high gas prices are part of an “incredible transition” away from fossil fuels.

Biden made the comment during a press conference Monday in Tokyo, Japan, as part of a diplomatic trip to Asia. The president’s foes quickly pounced on the comment as proof that Biden’s clean-energy policies were woefully out of touch and harming the American public with heightened gas prices.

Appearing at a press conference with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, Biden was asked by a reporter if Americans should expect a recession as gas prices remain high and the Federal Reserve has raised interest rates to rein in historically high inflation.

Biden said he didn’t expect a recession, pointing to the low unemployment rate and how America’s economy is growing faster than China’s for the first time in decades. While Biden acknowledged the U.S. has problems, he said they are “less consequential than the rest of the world has because of our internal growth and strength.”

“And when it comes to the gas prices, we’re going through an incredible transition that is taking place that, God willing, when it’s over, we’ll be stronger and the world will be stronger and less reliant on fossil fuels when this is over,” said Biden.

The national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline was $4.56 on Monday. In California, gas was pricier at $6.06 per gallon. In some places, a gallon costs more than the federal minimum wage of $7.25 an hour.

Biden has laid out an ambitious plan to bolster the production of electric cars and infrastructure to support them. But Russia’s invasion of Ukraine caused Biden to pivot from his clean-energy ambitions to increase the supply of oil.

Texas Senator Ted Cruz said on a Fox News appearance that Biden wasn’t troubled by the high price of gas.

“He’s in Tokyo celebrating, saying ‘it’s an incredible transition,’” Cruz said. “Incredible for you! You fly a damn 747 where the taxpayers pay for your jet fuel. What Joe Biden is saying is, if you at home, if you drive a pickup truck, ‘to hell with you; you can’t drive your pickup truck. If you have a Suburban, you’ve got to get rid of that. We’re all getting Toyota Priuses.’”

Florida Senator Rick Scott said on Twitter that Biden was celebrating Americans struggling to make ends meet.

Other critics of the president also weighed in on Twitter.

“How can the average person afford an $80k electric vehicle?” asked Twitter user Hawkc.

Twitter user Sifrit Raesmusen said, “I identify my car as one that runs on hopes and dreams, so I’m good.”

Twitter user Jose Ortega came to the president’s defense, writing, “Gas prices are up all over the world, has nothing to do with Biden.”

Other Twitter users brought up the 2022 midterm elections.

“Remember this and remember you can help create an incredible transition this November,” Twitter user zulupapaquebec wrote. “And an even more incredible one in 2024.”

Newsweek has reached out to the White House for comment.

We don’t like to scare the hell out of everyone and not offer some sort of solution to a problem we face, but a post made by Kim Dotcom is, quite frankly… pretty scary stuff.

The numbers he presents about the state of our nation’s ill health are undeniable, but more importantly, unsustainable.

We believe that everyone deserves to know what the future will bring, even if it’s not what everyone wants to hear.

Biden Lied About Bringing Down Deficit In 2021 As Inflation Rate Skyrockets To 8.3%

May 11, 2022 at 01:14PM Outrageous: Biden Lies and Says He Brought Down the Deficit in 2021 After Adding $3 TRILLION in New Debt

On Tuesday Joe Biden delivered a weak and dishonest attempt to blame anyone but himself and the Democrat Party for the record inflation in America today.

Democrat spending immediately created the current inflation crisis after Joe Biden took office.

During his talk, Joe Biden lied and said his administration and Democrats brought down the deficit last year in 2021.

This was a lie as Newsmax host Rob Schmitt pointed out.

Last year the IRS took in $3.8 trillion dollars. Democrats spent $6.8 trillion. That’s a deficit of $3 trillion in just one year. That’s why the inflation number is at historic levels.

The US inflation rate was released on Wednesday morning. The 8.3% inflation rate was higher than expected at 8.1%.
