The corrupt Biden administration Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is spending tens of millions of taxpayer dollars to indoctrinate college students into believing right-wing Americans are dangerous and racist extremists.
Under DHS’ Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention Grant Program (TVTP), university pupils are taught the Republican Party along with conservative news outlets are leading people to adopt fringe beliefs associated with neo-Nazis and white supremacists.
The disturbing government-run propaganda scheme was exposed thanks to FOIA requests submitted by conservative watchdog group the Media Research Center (MRC).
The group revealed the entire program has been dubbed a “high priority” of the Biden administration.
A graph depicting the “Pyramid of Far-Right Radicalization” that has recently gone viral online can be seen below:
Media Research Center founder and president Brent Bozell said, “This terrorism task force is engaged in an active effort to demonize and eliminate Christian, conservative, and Republican organizations using federal taxpayer dollars. What we have uncovered calls for criminal prosecution. The American people need to know those who are abusing their positions in the federal government will be held accountable for their criminal behavior.”
Fox News reported, “The Biden administration has awarded 80 grants through the TVTP totaling just under $40 million. The lowest grant was for $85,000, the highest was over $1.1 million, and the median was about $442,000. TVTP grant recipients are prohibited from engaging in viewpoint discrimination, according to DHS.”
When the Post asked about the DHS funding the Dayton program, a DHS spokesperson said, “The presented chart was not developed, presented, or endorsed by the Department of Homeland Security, and was not part of any successful grant application to the Department of Homeland Security. DHS does not profile, target, or discriminate against any individual for exercising their constitutional rights protected by the First Amendment.”
However, a vice president at MRC named Dan Schneider told the Post, “DHS is lying through its teeth once again. DHS did indeed fund the PREVENTS-OH program a year after a graph and documents were presented that equated Nazis to conservatives, Christians, and Republicans.”
Schneider went on to accuse DHS Ohio of scrubbing its website to remove proof of funding the PREVENTS-OH program and told the government agency he already copied the documents before they were deleted.
“We also have proof that ‘PREVENTS-OH’ actually hosted the conference and that DHS was an active participant, including featuring a senior DHS official at the conference,” he added.
Schneider also called for Congress to launch a criminal investigation into DHS and to make criminal referrals to hold the government accountable.
It’s imperative for citizens of the United States to begin speaking out against the weaponized federal government at every chance we get!
Infowars’ War Room host Owen Shroyer discussed the “far-right” pyramid during a recent live transmission:
Because Infowars relies on YOUR SUPPORT in order to continue funding the operation, we urge you to visit the Infowars Store to do your part in the battle against globalism by purchasing great products such as dietary supplements, books, t-shirts, survival gear and much more. Thanks!
Several recent mainstream media reports reveal potential predictive programming being used to get the public ready for alleged right-wing or Russian attacks on the power grid.
CBS Mornings covered a recent Department of Homeland Security (DHS) report warning far-right activists could be targeting the U.S. power grid as a way to disrupt the country and the government’s ability to operate.
Despite first claiming the attacks would be done by “right-wing” extremists, the actual DHS paper states individuals “adhering to a range of ideologies will likely continue to plot and encourage physical attacks…”
Another CBS fear campaign recently told viewers Russia could target the American power grid system to create chaos.
The entire U.S. could allegedly suffer a power blackout if just nine key power substations were targeted either physically or by hackers.
Of course, Infowars and Alex Jones have warned the global elite have prepared tools to intentionally turn off the U.S. power grid as part of the openly planned series of disasters ushering in the Great Reset.
Now, the same key players have been warning the next pandemic will be a “cyber” one where critical infrastructure is attacked.
Conservative journalist and activist Candace Owens discussed a government-induced power grid collapse in a recent viral video, saying, “The World Economic Forum is predicting a cyber pandemic is inevitable.”
Always ahead of the information curve, Infowars warned its followers back in December 2020 the next pandemic could be cyber.
In fact, we played footage of WEF founder Klaus Schwab eerily stating the cyber attack would make the COVID-19 crisis appear to be a “small disturbance in comparison” to a power grid collapse.
Alex Jones warned way back in 2010 the leftist green movement’s war on coal power and fossil fuels in general would lead to power grid failures.
Jones also exposed the WEF’s power grid collapse scheme during a recent live transmission of The Alex Jones Show.
Don’t miss a recent conversation between Alex Jones and the Health Ranger Mike Adams about the dangers of a cyber attack and how to best prepare to ensure your family stays safe.

A 30-ton shipment of explosive chemicals traveling from Wyoming to California by rail disappeared en route, officials say

A 30-ton shipment of ammonium nitrate disappeared from a railcar, KQED reported.
The chemical is used to make both fertilizer and explosives.
The chemical’s supplier said that it thought the shipment, which was in pellet form, fell from the railcar.
Officials are investigating the disappearance of a 30-ton shipment of ammonium nitrate, a chemical used to make both fertilizer and explosives, PBS affiliate KQED reported.
A railcar loaded with 60,000 pounds of ammonium nitrate from explosives company Dyno Nobel left Cheyenne, Wyoming, on April 12, heading to California, according to KQED, which cited an incident report from the company. But two weeks after leaving Cheyenne, the railcar arrived at a rail stop in the Mojave Desert where it was found to be empty, per the report.
Ammonium nitrate is used as an agricultural fertilizer, to manufacture first aid products such as cold packs, and in explosives for the mining and construction industries, according to the US Department of Homeland Security.
It was also the primary explosive used in the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing that killed 168 people and was at the time was the worst terror attack in US history, and there have been incidents of supplies of the chemical exploding when not stored correctly.
The National Fire Protection Association says that because ammonium nitrate can accelerate fires and explosions, it can present a “significant explosive threat,” but needs another element to destabilize it first.
Dyno Nobel said that it thought the chemical, which was in pellet form, fell from the covered hopper car it was transported on, similar to what coal is transported on, KQED reported.
“The railcar was sealed when it left the Cheyenne facility, and the seals were still intact when it arrived in Saltdale,” a Dyno Nobel spokesperson told KQED. “The initial assessment is that a leak through the bottom gate on the railcar may have developed in transit.”
Union Pacific, which transported the railcar, told Insider it was in the “early stages” of an investigation into the lost freight.
“The fertilizer is designed for ground application and quick soil absorption,” a spokesperson for Union Pacific told Insider. “If the loss resulted from a rail car leak over the course of transportation from origin to destination, the release should pose no risk to public health or the environment.”
“At this point in the investigation, we do not believe there is any criminal or malicious activity involved,” the spokesperson added.
A Federal Railroad Administration representative told Insider that it was investigating whether the railroad or shipper committed any federal violations under the Department of Transportation’s regulatory authority.
Dyno Nobel told KQED that it had “limited control” over the railcar while it was in transit and that it was being moved back to Wyoming for inspection. It added that it would work to prevent similar incidents in the future.
The California Public Utilities Commission told KQED that it was also investigating.
October 24, 2022 at 04:31PM. Biden Regime Set to Warn About “Threats to Nation’s Election Infrastructure” Ahead of Midterms, including China, Russia and Non-State Actors
JUST IN – Biden admin set to warn about “threats to nation’s election infrastructure” ahead of midterms — an intelligence bulletin is slated to be issued this week, Politico reports.
The Biden regime is set to warn Americans about the “threats to the nation’s election infrastructure” later this week ahead of the 2022 midterm elections.
The intelligence bulletin will lay out details of cyber threats posed by China, Russia, other non-state actors, and potential physical threats to election officials in jurisdictions across the country.
The FBI-DOJ is hoping they can move the needle a bit to assist the Democrat-Socialists who have managed to destroy the economy, the border, and US foreign policy in less than two years.
Top Biden national security officials are tracking multiple threats to the nation’s election security infrastructure ahead of the midterms and are set to issue warnings, including in an internal intelligence bulletin this week, according to two people familiar with the matter.
The bulletin will lay out details of cyber threats posed by China and Russia, as well as other non-state actors, and potential physical threats to election officials in jurisdictions across the country, the people said. The warnings come as the midterm elections near and amid increasing reports of intimidation at ballot drop boxes. The people requested anonymity to talk freely about sensitive national security and election matters.
The Department of Justice is set to address several malign influence schemes and alleged criminal activity by non-state actors in a press conference Monday. It’s unclear if its announcement and the intelligence bulletin warnings are connected.
Furthermore, Biden’s ‘American Rescue Plan’ provided $350 billion to respond to the Covid pandemic and he is still asking for more money.
VIDEO:
Biden made a similar statement in June of this year.
Biden said we need more money because there is going to be another pandemic.
“We need more money. We don’t just need more money for vaccines for children, we need more money to plan for the second pandemic. There’s gonna be another pandemic,” said Biden in June.
September 16, 2022 at 07:17AM Update – Over a DOZEN School Shooting False Alarms Across Nation in 3 Days!
Update (9/14/22): We discovered at least four more false school shootings in Texas and Virginia that took place Tuesday we missed in our previous report yesterday, and learned of several additional false active shooter threats that happened in other states Wednesday.
In addition to the two schools in Houston and Waco we mentioned in our report below, NBC DFW reported active shooter “false calls” occurred at Lincoln High School in Dallas, Connally High School in Pflugerville, and Diamond Hill-Jarvis High School Fort Worth.”
“The individual who posted the threats has been identified and an investigation is underway,” the Fort Worth district said, according to NBCDFW. “The individual was not in possession of any weapons, and an adult caretaker is assisting us with the investigation.”
Another false alarm also reportedly happened Tuesday in Austin, Texas, at Eanes ISD.
An anonymous phone call prompted additional security at Cedar Creek Elementary School in Eanes ISD, a district spokesperson told KXAN. School continued and students remained inside and safe, the district said.
“Out of an abundance of caution, the Adult Transition Services building and Hill Country Middle School were placed on Secure protocol. Law enforcement will continue to investigate the validity of the threat and, out of precaution, will have a presence tomorrow [Wednesday] at and around the schools,” Eanes ISD said.
The spokesperson said the threat was reported around 12 p.m. Tuesday.
Interestingly, KXAN reports an Eanes ISD spokesperson claimed they were “told there were more than a dozen similar anonymous threats to schools throughout the state, of which none were deemed credible.”
Schools in Lunenburg County Virginia were also locked down Monday after reports of a threat.
Lunenburg County Public Schools said it closed on Monday after the sheriff’s office was notified of a school system threat.
Lunenburg Superintendent Charles Berkley told NBC12 that the closure stemmed from a school shooting threat on Facebook.
The sheriff’s office says they received the threat Sunday morning and promptly notified the school division. The decision was made to close the school and all activities to err on caution.
On Wednesday, more active shooter hoaxes happened in California, Maryland, and West Virginia.
In California, Lancaster High School in Lancaster, Bullard High School in Fresno, and Bishop Diego High School in Santa Barbara all experienced fake shooting threats on the same day.
Also Wednesday, Jackson County Schools in West Virginia had increased law enforcement presences after threats made on Twitter.
“Jackson County Sheriff Ross Mellinger said the threat originated in the state of Texas and did not appear to be directed at any school in West Virginia,” reports WV Metro News.
“However, a student in Jackson County shared the threat with law enforcement out of fear something might be imminent. The alleged threat took on a life of its own on social media, fueled by rumors and inaccurate information. According to Mellinger there was NO threat to any West Virginia Schools…but the law enforcement presence will be there as a precaution due to rampant rumors on social media.”
The Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School in Montgomery County, Maryland was also put on lockdown Wednesday, after reports of a gun on campus.
So, for anyone that’s keeping count, that’s at least 16 false school shooting reports that we know of so far.
Read the original story from Tuesday, Sept. 13 below…
Numerous schools across the nation from California to Indiana to Georgia experienced active shooter false alarms and hoax threats Tuesday.
The multiple school shooting hoaxes coincidentally came on the same day as the start of Alex Jones’ Sandy Hook defamation trial, and as the trial of alleged Marjory Stoneman Douglas High school shooter Nikolas Cruz continues.
On Tuesday, Hollywood High School in Los Angeles was placed on lockdown after false reports of an active shooter.
“Los Angeles School Police said they got reports of an active shooter in progress at the school with six victims down. LAPD and LA School police officers searched the school looking for victims and suspects, but found nothing,” reported CBS News.
Updating parents the incident was a false alarm, Los Angeles schools superintendent Alberto Carvalho tweeted, “Recent reports of a critical incident at Hollywood high school are unfounded and, after swift law enforcement response and internal individual classroom verification, we are deeming the incident as a hoax.”
A similar false threat happened at a Switzerland County school in Indiana Tuesday.
“On 9/13/22, the Switzerland Co. Sheriff’s Office received information of a potential school shooting threat made via social media,” local law enforcement wrote in a Facebook post. “A suspect has been identified and is currently detained pending further investigation. Switzerland County School officials have been notified of the situation.”
“At this time, no active threat is believed to exist and schools remain on their normal schedule.”
Over in Texas at a high school in Houston, ABC13.com reported similar happenings Tuesday, with the Houston Chronicle deeming the false threat a “hoax call.”
“Law enforcement officers responded to a report of an active shooter at a Heights-area high school, but authorities say the report was a false alarm,” reported ABC13.com.
“The situation all centered around Houston ISD’s Heights High School located at 413 E. 13th Street on Tuesday afternoon, according to Harris County Pct. 1.”
Northwest of Houston at Waco High School in Waco, police declared an all-clear Tuesday after investigating an active shooter threat.
“Waco PD received a report of a shooting in a classroom at a Waco High. Waco ISD says this claim does not appear to be credible, however, law enforcement is in the process of clearing the building,” reported Fox44News.com.
A Clayton County middle school in Georgia also went on lockdown Tuesday after someone called in a fake active shooter threat.
“Clayton County Public Schools is aware of a police presence in the area of Kendrick Middle School. Please be advised that there has not been a shooting,” the district wrote on Twitter. “Officers are currently investigating an alleged 911 hang-up call from within the community.”
On Monday, parents of Wellington High School students in Florida also experienced an active shooter scare.
As is the norm, Social Media flooded with reports of a “Code Red: Full Lockdown” at Wellington High School. Many concerned parents took to Social Media to find answers. Unfortunately, as is the norm, Social Media fed the rumors and panic.
Sources close to the incident tell Boca Post that a 9-1-1 call was placed to the Palm Beach County Fire Rescue regarding a school shooting at Wellington High School shortly after 2 PM on Monday, September 12th, 2022. The caller, who was identified as the mother of a student, says her daughter texted her that someone was shooting at the school.
As a result of that 9-1-1 call, PBCFR and PBSO initiated a large response and the school was placed on a Code Red lockdown. It is unclear if the school was placed on lockdown prior to that call.
Boca Post has learned that PBCFR immediately treated the incident as a level 1 mass casualty incident. The first responding deputies and fire rescue personnel quickly assessed the scene as safe, stating that there were no shooting victims and no shooting. The large response was canceled and the scene cleared shortly after.
The series of fake school shooting threats come as two major school shooting cases play out in court, the trial of alleged Marjory Stoneman Douglas high school shooter Nikolas Cruz, accused of murdering 17 students, and the Sandy Hook defamation trial of Alex Jones in Connecticut.
Stephen Miller: “Biden Tonight Gave the Speech of a Dictator, In the Style of a Dictator, In the Visual of a Dictator, Using the Words of a Dictator” (VIDEO)
Joe Biden made history on Thursday night and declared war on the American people.
It was a turning point in American politics.
It was the speech of a raging tyrant.
Former Trump aide Stephen Miller delivered an amazing rebuttal to Joe Biden’s historic declaration of war on the American people.
Thank God we still have men like Stephen Miller on our side!
Stephen Miller: President Trump poured out his heart, his soul, his spirit every day to build a better America for everyone to build a safer and more prosperous America. While Democrats and deep state launched an illegal operation to take him out and it is now in its sixth year!
President Biden tonight gave the speech of a dictator, in the style of a dictator, in the visual of a dictator, using the words of a dictator.
This was his enemies of the state speech. And like every other radical, Marxist, tyrant, he accused his opponents of being fascist while he engages in oppressive authoritarian behavior.
He’s the one who’s forcing Americans against their will to take a vaccine.
He is the one who has violated our nation’s Constitution to open our borders.
He’s the one who is interfering in the sacred relationship between parent and child to try to force dangerous medicine, puberty blockers, hormones, on our little kids.
He’s the one whose government raided the home of his chief political opponent. in a fashion that violates the entire constitutional order because President Trump has the absolute right to decide what is or isn’t in the national security interest when he leaves the White House.
All of those things, all of them, are the behavior of a tyrant.
The U.S. government believes that Iran may try to assassinate current or former senior American officials to avenge the death more than two years ago of its top military and intelligence commander, according to an intelligence report obtained by Yahoo News.
In January 2020, the Trump administration conducted a drone strike that killed Maj. Gen. Qassem Soleimani while he was on a trip to Iraq. Since then, the regime in Tehran has threatened revenge against those it deems responsible and has made a series of threats and started legal proceedings against U.S. officials.
As President Biden begins his trip to the Middle East, the U.S. government believes the threat of an attack is still high.

“The Iranian regime is waging a multipronged campaign — including threats of lethal action, international legal maneuvering, and the issuance of Iranian arrest warrants and sanctions — against select US officials to avenge the death of IRGC-QF Commander Soleimani in January 2020, raising the threat at home and abroad for those Iran views as responsible for the killing,” the report states.
The National Counterterrorism Center, which produced the June intelligence report, declined to comment. The U.S. Secret Service did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
“Since January 2021, Tehran has publicly expressed a willingness to conduct lethal operations inside the United States and has consistently identified former President Donald Trump, former Secretary of State Michael Pompeo, and former CENTCOM Commander General Kenneth McKenzie as among its priority targets for retribution,” the report says. “Iran would probably view the killing or prosecution of a US official it considers equivalent in rank and stature to Soleimani or responsible for his death as successful retaliatory actions.”

A spokesperson for Trump did not respond to a request for comment from Yahoo News, and Pompeo did not respond to text messages and emails seeking comment. McKenzie also did not respond to messages sent through a university he is affiliated with.
The intelligence report, which is marked “Not for Public Release” and “For Official Use Only,” is dated June 16, 2022, two days after the White House officially announced Biden’s trip to the Middle East.
Biden landed in Israel Wednesday for the first part of the trip, after which he is expected to fly to Saudi Arabia.

On Monday, Biden’s national security adviser, Jake Sullivan, announced Iranian plans to provide missiles and training to Russia in support of its war against Ukraine. Biden’s trip to the Middle East is the first of his presidency, and he is expected to try to rally support against Iran, and to try to calm tensions in the region.
The intelligence bulletin obtained by Yahoo News appears to be part of the Biden administration’s broader efforts to call attention to the threat posed by the Iranian regime and to garner support from policymakers across the aisle and others.
A National Security Council spokesperson declined to comment on the document itself, but said in a statement to Yahoo News that the U.S. “will protect and defend its citizens,” including “those serving the United States now and those who formerly served.”
The NSC also said that a “mutual return” to full implementation of the Iran nuclear deal, also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, remains “in America’s national interest. It is the best available option to restrict Iran’s nuclear program and provide a platform to address Iran’s destabilizing conduct.”

The June intelligence bulletin was widely circulated inside the government and to law enforcement nationwide. It is based on an analysis of statements and other actions taken by the Iranian regime, and describes foiled plots to assassinate government officials and legal maneuvers and threats against specific U.S. officials.
The intelligence community and federal law enforcement agencies have been concerned about retaliatory attacks from Iran in response to the death of Soleimani, and such concerns date back even before then.
Yahoo News previously reported that concerns about retaliatory attacks after Soleimani’s death against officials involved in the strike against him prompted Congress to appropriate $15 million for security for departing Secretary of State Pompeo and others.
“Soleimani was the chief architect of Iran’s regional policy, and more importantly, the personal connective tissue between terrorists abroad and Tehran,” said Behnam Ben Taleblu, an expert on Iran and a senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies.

“The U.S. blow against a figure like Soleimani remains an unhealed wound for the world’s foremost state sponsor of terrorism, with Tehran looking to wash blood away with blood. The fact that some U.S. officials need round-the-clock security due to the Islamic Republic’s threats and operations should be a wake-up call to those who only see Tehran as a potential proliferation problem or a distant threat in the Middle East,” he told Yahoo News.
If the Biden administration thought Iran’s desire for revenge would abate over time, it has not, according to the intelligence report. This raises questions about how Biden plans to negotiate with a regime trying to kill U.S. government officials.
“It is baffling how the administration is trying to negotiate a deal with a government that has a river of terror threats against current and former U.S. officials,” Taleblu said.
In its statement, the NSC said the Biden administration and U.S. allies are “preparing equally for scenarios with and without a mutual return to full implementation of the [Iran nuclear deal]. The President will do what is in the best interests of U.S. national security.”
An intelligence report, dated June 16, 2022, that was obtained by Yahoo News.
June 9, 2022 at 04:05PM JUST IN: Police Kill Intruder Trying to Forcefully Enter Alabama Elementary School
Police on Thursday fatally shot a man trying to forcefully enter an elementary school in Gadsen, Alabama.
The potential intruder went to several locked doors trying to get into Walnut Park Elementary School before police shot him dead, according to Gadsen City Schools Superintendent Tony Reddick.
And Joe Biden is opposed to “hardening schools” in the aftermath of the mass shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas.
Republicans have pitched measures to beef up security at schools such as single point of entry, fencing, metal detectors and armed security.
Joe Biden and the Democrats are pushing back on the security proposals because their goal is to ban guns.
Responding police officers engaged the intruder before shooting him dead.
No children were harmed.
The identity of the intruder has not been released at the time of this publication.
A person who was trying to enter an Alabama elementary school where a summer program was being held was shot to death by a police officer Thursday morning, authorities said.
Etowah County Sheriff Jonathon Horton told The Gadsden Times that a police officer from nearby Rainbow City was working as a school resource officer and encountered the person, got involved in an altercation and called for backup, Horton said. At least one other officer responded and the person was shot to death.
No students were hurt, sheriff’s officials said. “All kids are out” of the building, Reddick said, and most didn’t even realize something had happened.
“We don’t know the potential of what could have happened had those two officers not responded the way they did, so we very much commend them for that,” Reddick said.
Authorities didn’t immediately release the identity of the person who was killed or any details about the altercation, including whether the person who died was armed or why they might have been trying to get into the school.
June 8, 2022 at 05:14AM Food Shortages and Food Processing Plant Fires – What’s Going On? – UncoverDC
Though rarely reported by mainstream news, there have been an unusual number of significant fires in food processing facilities around the country this year and even going back into last year. The fires are starting to give rise to noteworthy chatter online, especially as the Biden administration—whose policies largely support the ‘great reset‘ agenda pushed by the World Economic Forum and the World Health Organization—warns us about food shortages.
Interestingly, the fires caught the attention of Tucker Carlson of Fox News, who discussed several of the blazes last night. Speaking of a plane that crashed at a General Mills plant in Georgia yesterday, here’s part of what Carlson had to say:
“This is the second time in a week something like this has happened. On April 14th, a plane crashed into the Gem State Processing potato facility in Eastern Idaho. What’s going on here?
Well, the story gets weirder. Food processing plants all over the country seem to be catching fire. A couple of days ago, a fire destroyed the headquarters of Azure Standard—one of the largest organic food distributors in the country. At the end of last month, a fire severely damaged a fresh onion packing facility in South Texas. In Oregon and a potato chip processing plant had a boiler explosion that sent workers to the hospital.
So industrial accidents happen, of course, but this is a lot of industrial accidents at food processing facilities happening at the same time the President is warning us about food shortages. They’re getting hit by planes and catching fire. What is going on here, exactly?”
Screenshot / The Land Report
UncoverDC confirmed over two dozen facilities linked to our food supply were impacted by fires, 19 of them happening this year. There could be more. While there has been no concrete evidence that any of the fires are connected or were intentionally set, we felt it relevant to list them, especially since Bill Gates is the largest owner of farmland in the United States. Here they are, with a brief description of what we found out about each one.
April 21, 2022, General Mills Plant, Covington, GA; Two people died after a plane crashed into an empty lot at a General Mills plant in Covington, GA, used to store tractor-trailers. Witnesses believe the aircraft had trouble gaining altitude when it suddenly veered right and immediately came down into the lot. The plane appeared to explode upon impact, catching several empty trailers on fire due to the crash. The police captain said that many lives were saved because the plane did not directly crash into the plant, as it crashed about 300 feet away from the plant. The NTSB is investigating the crash.
April 18, 2022, Azure Standard, Dufur, OR; The headquarters of Azure Standard, a premier independent distributor of organic and healthy food, was destroyed by fire. There were no injuries. The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation. Local news reported that records from the local Sheriff’s log stated, “Lights flickered; They heard a pop and went up there to check it out, and there was a fire.” According to founder and CEO David Stelzer, the loss of the facility and the impact on companywide operations are being assessed and expected to be limited and temporary. No other Azure Standard facilities were affected.
April 13, 2022, Gem State Processing, Heyburn, ID; An experienced UPS pilot’s plane crashed into the roof of the potato and food processing plant, killing the pilot instantly. The facility sources 18,000 acres of Idaho potatoes. The distraught father of pilot Brittney Infanger, 30, said his daughter knew the area well and often flew into the airport near the plant. He added, “There’s a 60-foot chimney sticking out of the food processing plant—no lights on it, dead center—straight across the runway. So whenever you come in, you have to fly over the top of this and drop down. The airport needs to be closed, period.”
April 13, 2022, Taylor Farms, Salinas, CA; Reports say the fire started in a wall and spread rapidly to the attic at the 225,000 processing plant, a major producer of fruits and vegetables. More than 100 firefighters were needed to contain the blaze as there were concerns of an ammonia explosion at the plant. It is believed the plant stored 40,000 gallons of ammonia. For over 27 years, Taylor Farms, with nearly 22,000 employees, has built a network of 20 facilities across America. As the company navigates rebuilding the Salinas plant, they are currently moving into another space in Salinas. They are grateful that their Yuma, AZ plant is fully operational.
April 11, 2022, East Conway Beef & Pork, Conway, N.H.; A massive fire destroyed the butcher shop and meat market. Neighbors helped to corral cattle freed when the fire broke out. Investigators from the NH Fire Marshal’s Office are still trying to figure out how the fire started. The same facility burned ten years ago.
March 31, 2022, Rio Fresh Inc., San Juan, TX; The third-generation family farming operation grows, packs, and ships many Texas-grown items, including Texas 1015 sweet onions and cabbage, kale, melons, and greens. The “massive fire” overtook the company’s 100,000 square foot new fresh onion packing facility, considered the state’s largest. The cause of the structure fire is still under investigation.
March 28, 2022, Maricopa, AZ Food Pantry; A reported 50,000 pounds of food were destroyed after a fire engulfed the food bank just 15 minutes after it had closed. The twenty-year-old food pantry has provided weekly meals for nearly 1,200 families. The organization plans to replace the trailers with a warehouse that will also serve as a soup kitchen to feed the hungry. Thunderbird Fire Chief Alan Allcott said he is not sure of the cause, noting there are indications that an animal under one of the trailers may have chewed and shorted out some of the wires, causing the blaze.
March 24, 2022, Penobscot McCrum Potato Processing Facility, Belfast, Maine; The massive fire, which is reported to have started in one of the fryolator machines, caused smoke so thick that active flames weren’t visible. The McCrum family plants, grows, cares for, harvests, stores, ships, and processes potatoes. The family is still determining the next steps for the factory and how to support its employees.
March 16, 2022, Walmart Distribution Center, Plainfield, IN; Smoke from the large fire in the 1.2 million sq. ft. warehouse was visible for several miles. In addition to food, the warehouse contained various items set for distribution, including clothing, electronics, and shipping materials. Thirty agencies responded to assist the Plainfield Fire Department in putting out the fire, with crews working in 4-6 hour shifts each to stay fresh while fighting the blaze. The investigation into the cause of the fire involved the AFT, who reported that the investigation into the cause of the fire could take weeks or months.
March 16, 2022, Nestlé Jonesboro plant, Jonesboro, AK; A fire with an explosion caused extensive damage to the new production line at the Nestlé Jonesboro plant, which produces frozen foods for the Stouffer’s, Lean Cuisine, Digiorno, Tombstone, Hot Pockets, and Sweet Earth brands. None of the company’s 800 employees were injured, and the facility remains closed to assess the damages and determine the cause of the fire. Ryan White, an employee for Nestle, said he is counting his blessings after being released from his 12-hour shift at the production line six hours early. He said, “If we would’ve stayed, we would’ve been right in the line of that fire.” Local news reports said the facility—opened in 2002—suffered “significant damage” to a new Hot Pockets production line added in 2021 in a $100 million investment.
March 14, 2022, Wayne Hoover dairy farm; Longswamp Township, PA; More than 20 fire companies responded to the massive fire at the Berks County farm, which was destroyed by the blaze. The 42 cows in the barn all managed to get out safely, but sadly one cow died of stress in transport to another farm.
