Rogan’s comments might surprise some people, but they don’t really surprise me at all. Rogan’s entire brand is bringing on interesting, whacky, strange and interesting characters for in-depth conversations about anything and everything.
If he starts bringing on politicians, he’s going to be sticking his foot into water he doesn’t want to swim in.
Remember, very few politicians are focused on having in-depth conversations over the course of hours. They want to hit talking points and promote a message.
That’s the last thing Joe Rogan or his viewers want to deal with. I’m sorry, but that’s just the reality of the situation.
Now, would Rogan interviewing Trump be awesome? I’m sure it would be, but I also totally understand why he won’t do it. It makes a lot of sense for him to not get involved.

US Senate candidate from Missouri Eric Greitens released an ad on Monday showing the former Navy SEAL carrying a weapon and leading a group of armed soldiers saying he is hunting RINOs (Republicans in name only.)
The video has gone viral since it was posted at 8:30 a.m. CDT with well over one million views on Twitter.
The Greitens campaign is encouraging supporters to become ‘RINO hunters.’ Facebook reportedly took down the ad.
Twitter has chosen to leave the ad up but with a disclaimer and limitations on sharing and commenting.
“I’m Eric Greitens, Navy SEAL, and today we’re going RINO hunting. The RINO feeds on corruption and is marked by the stripes of cowardice. (Flash bang grenades explode as military team and Greitens enters home.) Join the MAGA crew. Get a RINO hunting permit. There’s no bagging limit, no tagging limit and it doesn’t expire until we save our country.”
Eric Greitens responded to criticism from Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) who commented, “Let’s place the blame for this violent ad where it belongs, at the doorsteps of Kevin McCarthy & Mitch McConnell. They’ve failed to confront & condemn the MAGA radicals of their party. Now it’s out of control & threatens everyone’s freedom.” Greitens mockingly replied, “Did Fang Fang write this?”

Donald Trump rebutted his own daughter’s evidence against him at the first January 6 hearing on Friday, saying Ivanka had “checked out” on election issues.
The former president also raged at his former Attorney General Bill Barr for turning on him during the investigation into the Capitol insurrection.
A congressional panel probing the January 6 2021 attack aired recorded testimony in which Ivanka said she did not believe her father’s false claims that the 2020 presidential election had been stolen from him.
In a post on the social media platform Truth Social on Friday, Trump sought to downplay his daughter’s involvement, despite her being one of his most trusted allies during his four years in the White House.
“Ivanka Trump was not involved in looking at, or studying, election results. She had long since checked out and was, in my opinion, only trying to be respectful to Bill Barr and his position as Attorney General (he sucked!),” Trump wrote.
On Thursday night, the House panel played parts of their interview with Mr Barr, who said that Mr Trump’s false claims of fraud were “bulls***” and that he didn’t want to be “a part of it”.
“I had three discussions with the president that I can recall,” Mr Barr told the committee. “One was on November 23, one was on December 1 and one on December 14, and I’ve been through sort of the give and take of those discussions and in that context, I made it clear I did not agree with the idea of saying the election was stolen and putting out this stuff, which I told the president was bulls***,” he added during the pre-recorded interview first shared with the public on Thursday night.
“And I didn’t want to be a part of it, and that’s one of the reasons that went into me deciding to leave when I did. I observed, I think it was December 1, you know, he can’t live in a world where the incumbent administration stays in power based on its view, unsupported by specific evidence, that there was fraud in the election,” he added.
Mr Trump attacked Mr Barr on Truth Social.
“Bill Barr was a weak and frightened Attorney General who was always being ‘played’ and threatened by the Democrats and was scared stiff of being impeached,” Mr Trump wrote.
“How do you not get impeached? Do nothing, or say nothing, especially about the obviously rigged and stolen election or, to put it another way, the crime of the century! The Democrats hit pay dirt with Barr, he was stupid, ridiculously said there was no problem with the election, and they left him alone. It worked for him, but not for our Country!” Mr Trump added.
Mr Trump wrote in a second post on Mr Barr that he “was a coward who would not let his US Attorney in Philadelphia, where election fraud was rampant, to even think about looking at it … I believe that by their inaction, others were told this also!”
“The so-called ‘Rush on the Capitol’ was not caused by me, it was caused by a Rigged and Stolen Election!” Mr Trump claimed.
“I NEVER said, or even thought of saying, ‘Hang Mike Pence’. This is either a made up story by somebody looking to become a star, or FAKE NEWS!” Mr Trump wrote regarding evidence that he reacted positively to the chants of his supporters to hang the vice president for refusing to help to overturn the election.
“Many people spoke to me about the Election results, both pro and con, but I never wavered one bit – follow the facts and proof. The 2020 Presidential Election was Rigged and Stolen…And look at our Country now – not pretty!!!” Mr Trump posted on Truth Social, repeating his false claims of election fraud.
Trump critics reacted to Ms Trump’s testimony on Twitter.
“IVANKA TRUMP SINKS DADDY says she accepted Barr’s assessment that the fraud claim was nonsense. Goodness,” broadcaster Keith Olbermann wrote.
“If anything will penetrate the GOP disinformation bubble, I’d think it would be statements from Ivanka, Pence, and Bill Barr,” lawyer Teri Kanefield tweeted. “I mean, they’re not exactly radical Democrats or even ‘never Trump Republicans’.”
Journalist David Corn tweeted that Ms Trump was “essentially calling her father a liar or a delusional con man. Maybe both”.
“Ivanka trump – testified bill Barr told the truth – no election interference – said she believed Barr – pushed daddy under bus,” actor John Cusack added.

San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin was projected to be ousted in a recall Wednesday, marking a stunning setback for progressive advocates of criminal justice reform.
The Associated Press called the race around 12:04 a.m. ET.
Boudin’s loss is the latest and loudest signal that voters’ appetites for reform is softening amid a nationwide spike in violent crime. His replacement will now be chosen by Mayor London Breed (D), who is expected to tap someone with a more moderate reputation.
Boudin first took office in early 2020 and ran on a slew of progressive promises, including to end cash bail, stop the practice of prosecuting children as adults and offer defendants the chance to enter a rehabilitation program rather than prison.
Crime has remained roughly the same in San Francisco since Boudin first entered the job, and no evidence has emerged to link his policies to violent crime.
That appears to make Boudin a victim to a national environment in which more voters are concerned about rising crime in many major cities, making them less eager for the types of change Boudin ran on.
The issue is particularly potent in San Francisco, which has grappling with a stubborn homelessness problem, a rash of burglaries and open-air drug markets. Compounding that are rumors of a tense relationship between Boudin and the San Francisco Police Department.
Boudin tried to fight off the effort by casting it as “Trumpian,” at times noting that one of the recall’s biggest backers is William Oberndorf, a conservative businessman. However, polls prior to the recall showed Boudin falling behind.
Boudin’s defeat marks the latest setback for a criminal justice reform movement that in recent years was buoyed by backlash against police killings of Black men only to later be rebuked by Democrats as a reason for key congressional losses, including in some 2020 House races.

You have many of these characters —- we ran that investigation —- they were under subpoena —- we never received a lot of this information that was really pertinent to our investigation. So right there, they lied and they misled Congress.
And so look just fast forward, where do we end up? Well now just, you know, in the last few weeks we end up with transcripts from the Supreme court leaking out of, of potential decisions on cases you have protests occurring at the Supreme court justices house.
That’s how far, and I believe this kind of era of disinformation is really critical. And Robin, that’s why I left —— I didn’t need a new job. I was perfectly happy representing the central valley in Congress and Donald Trump didn’t need a new company. Right.
But part of this whole problem with the disinformation, our inability to, to not be able to communicate, and a lot of us being kicked off of all these social media platforms —- all of this is related.
I mean, that’s why we started true social was to try to combat all this, to allow the American people, to communicate with one another. So all of this is all related. I hope Understand that.

James Baker testified last week, he said the bureau would’ve treated this type of information a lot differently. Had they known it was coming directly from the Clinton campaign? What should you make of that? How did they not know?

Well, that’s the thing. It’s this little sliver versus the whole enchilada. Baker had to have known the whole thing. He had to know that this whole thing was being concocted by the campaign. This is very specific as to whether or not the lawyer when he came into the FBI, whether or not he was representing the Clintons and the DNC or not. That’s really what this comes down to. So, what Durham is able to do, he’s really exposing all of these characters, which is good.

This was one of her best fake news interviews yet. Lake made the reporter look like a fool at every turn.
Previously, AZ Central and The Arizona Republic refused to run Kari Lake’s “Defend Arizona” border policy op-ed because she used the word “invasion.” They are an open-borders propaganda outlet.
Kari Lake formerly covered Arizona for 27-year as a news anchor, which taught her exactly how to fight the fake news and WIN. Lake recorded this interview herself, as she does with all of her interviews. Then, she typically exposes the lies that follow.
The Gateway Pundit has previously reported on Kari Lake’s annihilation of the Fake News Media numerous times.
The Arizona Republic admittedly begged for the interview, but Lake was the first to share it two weeks later on social media. They had no words to twist and no story to write because Kari Lake is a true professional.
The botched media hit jobs have only boosted her polling numbers. Lake now leads in her primary race by double digits!
Kari told the interviewer, “you guys are on the side of the cartels,” and she didn’t even deny it!
Lake: I offered my border policy to the Arizona Republic. Your management refused to take it unless I took out the word invasion, which tells me that you guys are on the side of the cartels.
Reporter: Then why did you agree to do an interview?
Lake: Because you’ve been pestering me nonstop.
Reporter:That’s true.
Lake: The only discussion that the Arizona Republic is interested in is a far-left discussion. And Stacy, you’ve been here 10 months you don’t understand Arizona. I’m sorry to say that. I’m out with people every day. I’m out with hundreds of people every day, 1000s of people some days. They’re fed up but what’s happening at our border. I appreciate your time. We gave you one more question, you asked the question. We’ve given you probably what, five or 10 minutes longer? I appreciate your time, but I’m really prepared for another hit piece from the Republic. The good news is our polling is showing that every day you guys write a hit piece on me or every week, and it’s not sticking because the good people of Arizona—who I have a relationship with and I’ve had a relationship with for 27 years—are not buying the garbage that you guys are peddling.
Reporter: I don’t understand why you are attacking my you know, having lived here a short period of time. This is a state of newcomers.
Lake: I’m just saying Stacy you don’t understand what the people of Arizona want. You don’t understand the people because you haven’t had a relationship like I have for 27 years. And you’re here for 10 months acting like you know what the people of Arizona want when it comes to the border. The people of Arizona want to secure state. The people of Arizona want to make sure their kids don’t get their hands on drugs. The people of Arizona want to make sure that the cartels no longer have operational control of our border. And we will when I am governor, take back control of our border. We will finish President Trump’s wall, we will send our Arizona National Guard down to the border, and we will arm them. We’re not going to let people over and when we find people we’re going to send them back.
According to the reporter’s LinkedIn page, she has been working with The Arizona Republic since August 2021, and previously, she covered news thousands of miles away on the east coast. She was recently sent to Arizona to sell propaganda and smear conservatives with The Arizona Republic. Regardless, she still tried to play victim when Kari noted that Arizona was not her home.
Throughout the rest of the interview, Lake eviscerated the poor girl on key issues for Arizona voters, including illegal immigration and border security, the rigged 2020 election, and Joe Biden’s obvious dementia.
When Joe Biden and his mental health were brought up, Lake’s response was impeccable. The reporter was left speechless, and she immediately changed the topic.
Reporter: Are you saying Joe Biden is not sane?
Lake: I think Joe Biden is compromised in many ways.
Reporter: What does that mean?
Lake: Well, I mean, have you seen him? Honestly, he can’t form a coherent sentence when he’s speaking. I don’t know if it’s dementia. I’m not a medical doctor. But I’ve heard people who are doctors say there’s something going on. He can’t form a coherent sentence. He can’t speak off the cuff. He wanders around the lawn of the White House and can’t find the door. I mean, that’s just what I’m seeing. Not to mention that we had a corrupt fraudulent election that the media refuses to cover. And we have a resident in the White House who most likely shouldn’t be there. You cannot take an election that was fraudulent and corrupt and certify it. De Blasio Will Run for Congress in Newly Drawn District
Cincinnati (TB096) – Bill de Blasio, the ex-mayor of New York City, said on Friday that he would run for the House of Representatives in a new district that includes parts of Brooklyn and Manhattan.
de Blasio announced on Friday that he would run for Congress in a newly created district stretching from Lower Manhattan to his home in Brooklyn, jumping into a crowded Democratic primary field.
Mr. de Blasio, who left office with low approval ratings in December after two terms, had been publicly mulling a campaign this week after a state court released a slate of new proposed congressional districts that would open up a safely blue seat in the heart of New York City.
He announced his comeback attempt early Friday morning on his favorite television program, MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” hours before the map was set to be finalized, and potentially tweaked.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Sunday lashed out at President Trump for appointing three conservative justices to the Supreme Court.
Trump’s final Supreme Court pick replacing far-left Ginsburg with Amy Coney Barrett swung the highest court of the land farther to the right and opened the door to overturn Roe v Wade.
Pelosi, knowing she’s powerless to do anything about the Supreme Court’s decision on Roe and seeing the effort to codify abortion rights fail in the senate, turned her ire toward Trump.
“Who would have ever suspected that a creature like Donald Trump would become president of the United States, waving a list of judges he would appoint, therefore, getting the support of the far right. And appointing those anti-freedom justices to the court?” Pelosi said dehumanizing Trump (again).
Pelosi also demonized the conservative justices on the Supreme Court and said they were dangerous to the freedoms of a country.
“Beware in terms of marriage equality. Beware in terms of other aspects…this is a dangerous court to families, to freedom which is why people have to mobilize!” Pelosi said, scolding CNN host Dana Bash.
