“Diversity” = The Dumbest Black American Judge In U.S. History. Biden Judicial Nominee Stumped By Basic Legal Question

March 23, 2023 at 05:13PM Watch: Biden Judicial Nominee Stumped By Basic Legal Question

A Senate judiciary nomination hearing exposed a Biden nominee’s alarming lack of fundamental knowledge of US law. This was no “gotcha” question about some obscure aspect of jurisprudence — it related to a basic rule that’s guided criminal law for the past 60 years and is familiar to plenty of well-informed laymen.

The nominee is Kato Crews, whom Biden has put forward for the US District Court for the District of Colorado. His jarring knowledge gap was exposed Wednesday when Louisiana Senator John Kennedy asked him how he would analyze a “Brady motion.”

That’s a reference to the “Brady rule,” which sprang from the 1963 Supreme Court case, Brady v Maryland. It requires prosecutors to give defendants information the government holds and that could aid in their defense.

Even your humble Tyler Durden, without any formal legal education, knew what “Brady” requires, simply from previous reading about various trials. Others have learned it from TV dramas: The Brady rule has made appearances in about a dozen episodes of Law & Order and Law & Order: SVU alone.

However, when he was asked about it, the Honorable Judge Crews paused, looked up in the air for a few seconds and said, “In my four and half years on the bench, I don’t believe I’ve had the occasion to address a Brady motion.”

When asked, “Do you know what a Brady motion is?”, Crews sidestepped by repeating nearly verbatim what he’d already said.

An attempt to jog Crews’ memory didn’t work. “Do you recall the US Supreme Court case Brady v Maryland?” asked Kennedy. Crews merely claimed he recalled “the name of the case.”

Things took a darkly humorous turn when Kennedy asked what the Supreme Court held in the case. Apparently hoping to get lucky on this game show — and perhaps trying to infer what Brady was about based on the Southern country drawl of his GOP questioner — Crews said, “I believe the Brady case involved something regarding the Second Amendment.”

Fair-minded observers can reasonably and empathetically cringe when legislators ask nominees exceedingly technical questions from the field they’re about to hold responsibility for. For example, earlier this month, Biden’s nominee to head the FAA had no answer when Senator Ted Budd asked, “Are you familiar with the difference between Part 107 and Part 44809 when it comes to unmanned aerial standards?“

Kennedy’s Brady questions were nothing like that.

Even lefty Bloomberg’s Supreme Court reporter was aghast:

ZeroHedge readers may recall that, earlier this month, lawyers for a January 6 defendant cited Brady when moving for his case to be dismissed. That motion came after Tucker Carlson aired video footage that his lawyers called “plainly exculpatory” — and which had been withheld by the government.

Crews has been a U.S. magistrate judge for the District of Colorado since 2018. His career started with a year at the National Labor Relations Board, where he investigated and prosecuted claims of unfair labor practices, before spending 17 years defending employers in civil suits.

He studied law — well, to some extent, anyway — at the University of Arizona. His nomination has attracted endorsements from a black bar association, the Asian Pacific Bar Association of Colorado, the Colorado Hispanic Bar Association, and a former Teamsters Union rep.

In a letter submitted to the Senate judiciary committee, a group of civil rights lawyers explicitly touted Crews’ skin color as a qualifier: “Magistrate Judge Crews is the District’s first Black Magistrate Judge and we believe it fitting he be nominated to fill a seat vacated by a Judge of color.”

DeSantis says Trump should’ve given up power like George Washington after election loss and January 6: Florida Gov. takes a dig at rival for trying to overturn the election instead of acting like a Founding Father

    • DeSantis lauded Washington during interview where he trashed Trump’s chaos
    • The first U.S. president put the Republic over his ‘own personal interest’ and ‘surrendered his sword,’ said the Florida governor
    • Quoted King George III, saying the ‘greatest man in the world gives up power’

By Geoff Earle, Deputy U.S. Political Editor For Dailymail.com

    Published: | Updated:

For the first time, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has criticized former President Donald Trump for refusing to concede power following the 2020 election – in a generalized comment referencing events more than 200 years ago.

DeSantis, who condemned rioters inside the Capitol where he once served, but has said little about Trump’s push to have courts and allies toss out the results, made remarks during an interview with Piers Morgan, where he also blasted Trump administration chaos.

He did so by invoking the nation’s most revered founder and first U.S. President, George Washington who Trump has frequently lionized (while once bragging he could probably beat the Virginian in an election).

‘So, somebody who really set the standard is George Washington because he always put the Republic over his own personal interest. When we won the American Revolution, Washington surrendered his sword,’ DeSantis said.

‘George III said he’s the greatest man in the world if he gives up power,’ said Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in an interview where he stressed character, urged people to emulate the founders, and blasted ‘drama’ in the Trump White House

DeSantis remarked on King George III’s possibly apocryphal remarks praising Washington for relinquishing power – drawing a sharp contrast with Trump.

‘George III said, “he’s the greatest man in the world, if he gives up power.” I think the person is more about how you handle your public duties and the kind of character you bring to that endeavor,’ he said.

Morgan had asked him if personal conduct in a leader matters.

‘You really want to look to people like our Founding Fathers, like what type of character, it’s not saying that you don’t ever make a mistake in your personal life, but I think what type of character are you bringing?’ DeSantis said before referencing Washington and Britain’s king.

DeSantis then contrasted his leadership style with the ‘daily drama’ of the Trump White House while poking at the former president’s character. He even doubled down on a Monday comment that he didn’t know ‘what goes into paying hush money to a porn star to secure silence over some type of alleged affair.’

DeSantis, a former Navy lawyer, referenced Washington’s decision to resign from his military commission in 1783 after leading the Revolutionary War effort for eight years.

The gesture, carried out before the Continental Congress gathered in the Maryland state capital in Annapolis, is heralded by historians as one of the nation’s greatest acts of statesmanship in the nation’s history.

It is depicted in a huge oil painting inside the Capitol Rotunda, where rioters rampaged on January 6 hours after Trump urged them to ‘fight like hell’ and pressed then-Vice President Mike Pence to refuse to accept votes certified by states.

Washington’s decision not to seek a third term, set a tradition that is now enshrined in the Constitution.

Democratic opponent Charlie Crist tried to make an issue of DeSantis’ refusal to explicitly condemn Trump’s election to overturn effort during the 2022 governor’s race, where DeSantis prevailed by a wide margin, accusing him of ‘silence’ about January 6.

DeSantis offered blistering criticism of Trump in the interview, where he said ‘when we won the American Revolution, Washington surrendered his sword’

Trump spoke at a ‘stop the steal’ rally before the Capitol riot on January 6. He told the Washington Post he could probably beat George Washington in an election

A huge oil painting of Washington resigning his commission is located in the Capitol Rotunda along with other historical artworks

King George III may have said if Washington gave up power ‘he would be the greatest man in the world’

DeSantis issued a statement on Jan. 6, 2021 saying ‘violence or rioting of any kind is unacceptable, and the perpetrators must face the full weight of the law.’

He also called it ‘totally unacceptable, and those folks need to be held accountable,’ adding the following day that, ”It doesn’t matter what banner you’re flying under — the violence is wrong, the rioting and disorder is wrong.’

On the first anniversary of January 6, he compared it to Christmas for the ‘D.C.-New York media,’ who he said were allowed to put forward negative narratives.

‘They are going to take this and milk this for anything they could to try to be able to smear anyone who ever supported Donald Trump,’ DeSantis said.

By breaking with Trump with the subtle historical analogy, DeSantis joins former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley in calling out what could be a vulnerability as the presidential race dire. Haley made direct appeals to Republicans ‘tired of losing.’

Taking on Trump in his role in 2020 carries risks in the primary, with polls showing a majority of Republicans believe Trump’s claims of election fraud. He was already in Trump’s crosshairs with the ‘porn star’ comments.

Trump advisor Jason Miller returned with a furious response at DeSantis Tuesday night. ‘Ron DeSantis has finally shown his true colors. An establishment Never Trumper who despised the MAGA base and was faking it the entire time,’ he tweeted.

One area where DeSantis may have gone beyond the historical record is his King George quotation, which continues to get traction on official sites.

The quote comes from American artist Benjamin West, who spent time in the King’s court and passed on what he heard to another artist. As a historian and early American specialist, Elizabeth Norvara wrote on a Library of Congress blog, it only got recorded years after the King allegedly said it. ‘The King said if He did He would be the greatest man in the world,’ artist Joseph Farrington wrote in his diary, a second-hand account of what he told West.

In another version, West told Rufus King, Washington’s ambassador to Great Britain, after Washington had decided not to seek a third term was an act that ‘placed him in a light the most distinguished of any man living, and that he thought him the greatest character of the age.’

But that happened all the way in 1797, after Washington had left office, not after he resigned his military command.

In any event, the King wasn’t so quick to relinquish power himself. He kept his crown until the end of his life, even after his son stepped in as regent amid his mental illness.

BREAKING: Soros-Funded DA Alvin Bragg CAUGHT HIDING Nearly 600 Pages of Exculpatory Evidence from NY Grand Jury in Trump Case (VIDEO)

Attorney Robert Costello, the former legal adviser to Michael Cohen, spoke to Tucker Carlson on Monday night after he testified to the Manhattan Grand Jury investigating President Donald Trump.

Costello told the FOX News audience that he testified for two hours in front of Alvin Bragg’s Manhattan Grand Jury.

Robert Costello told Tucker Carlson, “I spoke to the jury for two hours… It was clear to me the Manhattan Grand Jury did not want to get to the truth.”

And it now is being reported that New York District Attorney Alvin Bragg was HIDING exculpatory evidence from the Grand Jury!

According to FOX News legal mind Gregg Jarrett, Soros-funded DA Alvin Bragg HID nearly 600 pages of exculpatory evidence to the New York Grand Jury investigating President Trump.

Gregg Jarrett: I mentioned it yesterday, I think, when Bob Costello got into that Grand Jury room and told them, “Wait a minute. You don’t have the hundreds of pages I handed over to Alvin Bragg over here? You only have six cherry-picked documents?” You know, hiding from grand juries exculpatory information is reprehensible and unconscionable. And the conduct of Alvin Bragg and his henchman Mark Pomeranz, who specifically says in his book, “We’re targeting zombies because we don’t like his beliefs,” those guys should face disbarment proceedings.

Once again the REAL crooks reveal themselves.

And Jarrett is right. If there was a real justice system in the country, they should be disbarred.

Who Had It Worse, Trump or Jesus Christ?

At Least Jesus Wasn’t Prosecuted By A Bunch Of Racist Black Communists

WARNING:  THE FOLLOWING ARTICLE WAS WRITTEN BY A MEMBER OF THE CIA MOCKINGBIRD MEDIA THAT IS COMPLICIT IN THE OVERTHROW OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

Some of Donald Trump’s supporters can’t help but see similarities between the plight of their beloved former president, who’s in hot water, legally-speaking, for alleged schemes surrounding hush money to an adult film star, and the suffering of Jesus Christ.

The Manhattan District Attorney’s office is reportedly preparing to indict Trump in relation to a $130,000 payment from his lawyer and fixer to Stormy Daniels in exchange for her silence prior to the 2016 election.

Trump has tried to cast himself as a victim of political persecution by “evil and sinister people,” who are “killing our nation as we sit back & watch” in a series of blustering social media posts in recent days.

The former president has long played a key role in the imaginations of Christian nationalists, who believe America is an inherently Christian nation, should have Christian laws, and that Trump is their savior. Christian nationalist language has seeped into MAGA-world rhetoric, but Trump’s imminent arrest has taken it to new heights.

Lawyer Joseph McBride, who is representing a handful of Jan. 6 defendants, thinks that the timing of Trump’s likely arrest is notable.

“President Trump will be arrested during lent—a time of suffering and purification for the followers of Jesus Christ,” McBride wrote on Twitter. “As Christ was crucified, and then rose again on the 3rd day, so too will @realdonaldtrump.”

When he faced some pushback on comparing Trump’s plight to Jesus Christ’s hours-long torture, McBride doubled down. “JESUS LOVES DONALD TRUMP. JESUS DIED FOR DONALD TRUMP. JESUS LIVES INSIDE DONALD TRUMP,” McBride tweeted. “DEAL WITH IT.”

Other Trump supporters see eerie similarities between the Manhattan DA and the Romans who crucified Jesus.

“Rome tried to silence a peaceful leader via political persecution, and ended up creating the most pervasive & permanent religious figure in all of world history,” MAGA-world influencer Reanna Dilley wrote on Twitter.  “Good fucking luck, New York.”

Others are writing Trump into the Bible.

“To the wicked who are plotting against President Trump, who has committed no crime. Who has been chosen and appointed by Jesus Christ for such a time as this,” one person wrote on Truth Social. “May you fall into your own nets, While President Trump escapes safely. – from Psalm 141:10.”

Trump’s base worshiped him as a heaven-sent, Christ-like figure, despite his crass language, reported philandering, and scant evidence that he regularly attended church before running for president. His presidency helped usher in a new era of Christian nationalism, a right-wing philosophy whose adherents believe Trump is on a mission to restore God’s kingdom in America by transforming its laws and cultural institutions to reflect evangelical Christian values. A widely-cited study identified Christian nationalism as the dominant ideology among the Jan. 6 Capitol rioters. And there’s even a book, “President Donald J. Trump, The Son of Man—The Christ,” written by a Trump supporter.

In the Christian nationalist theological framework, all manner of right-wing culture war issues, including drag shows, COVID-19 vaccines, and now the looming indictment of Trump, became primordial battles between good and evil.

Trump has harnessed surging Christian nationalism to his advantage, and has recently adopted increasingly apocalyptic rhetoric to imbue his campaign with a sense of urgency.

“The greatest in our history, most important battle in our lives, is taking place right now as we speak,” he told CPAC earlier this month. “For seven years, you and I have been engaged in an epic struggle to rescue our country from the people who hate it and want to absolutely destroy it.”

At CPAC, Trump namechecked the “George Soros money machine.” Soros, a Holocaust survivor and billionaire philanthropist who funds popular liberal causes, is regularly invoked as an antisemitic dog whistle by those on the extreme right—Trump’s former lawyer Rudy Giuliani once promoted a tweet calling Soros the “anti-Christ,” which is how he’s often referred to in far-right circles. And over the weekend, Trump repeatedly tried to discredit the Manhattan DA’s investigation into the Stormy Daniels hush money by claiming District Attorney Alvin Bragg was “Soros funded” (Soros donated money to a nonprofit civil rights group Color of Change, which donated money to Bragg’s campaign).

“He’s giving them rhetoric to play around with, and enough violent groups are already looking for anything to grab onto”

Thomas Lecaque, an associate professor of history at Grand View University focusing on apocalyptic religion and political violence, says that these dog whistles are always dangerous, but particularly within the context of Christian nationalism and at a moment of surging antisemitism.

“This language is just going to keep reinforcing the narrative that your cultural and religious enemies are politically persecuting you,” said Lecaque. “Trump is an exemplar of how ‘your political enemies are persecuting you, we have to do something about it.’”

On Monday night, a Christian nationalist group called Pastors for Trump held a National Prayer Call on his behalf. Trump allies Roger Stone and Michael Flynn joined the call, hosted by Pastor Jackson Lahmeyer.

“Father, right now, I thank you for President Donald J. Trump and God I thank you for all that you’ve done to him and through him and for him over the last eight years,” Lahmeyer said. “We ask that every single person that refuses to submit to your will in Washington D.C., you would uproot them and you would remove them and replace them with men and women who will submit to the will of God.”

The charges in Manhattan are likely just the tip of the iceberg for Trump’s legal woes. He’s also facing potential charges in Georgia, for his efforts to overturn the 2020 election, and the DOJ is mulling federal charges for his alleged role on Jan. 6.

Lecaque is concerned about the role that religious rhetoric and Christian nationalism could play in terms of justifying or fomenting violence later down the road, especially if and when indictments start landing. “Trump is a vessel for other people to put their paranoid, violent delusions into,” said Lecaque. “He’s giving them rhetoric to play around with, and enough violent groups are already looking for anything to grab onto.”

BREAKING: Trump to Be Indicted Wednesday, Will Be Asked to Surrender for Arraignment Next Week — According to Report

    https://ift.tt/oBy0WxY

Former President Donald Trump will be indicted on Wednesday and asked to surrender for arraignment in New York next week, according to a new report.

“There will be no arraignment this week,” an unnamed source, said to be familiar with the proceeding, told the Daily Mail on Tuesday.

The Mail reports that “the former president, who is currently in Florida, is expected to be formally charged tomorrow, after which the Manhattan District Attorney’s office will reach out to Trump and his Secret Service detail to make arrangements for his surrender.”

After being flown to New York, he will be fingerprinted, arrested, and a mug shot will be taken.

On Tuesday, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office responded to a letter sent by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan demanding that he testify before Congress about his “unprecedented abuse of prosecutorial authority.” The prosecutor’s office said that they will not be “intimidated” out of filing charges.

“We will not be intimidated by attempts to undermine the justice process, nor will we let baseless accusations deter us from fairly applying the law,” a spokesperson for Bragg’s office told Fox News on Tuesday.

“In every prosecution, we follow the law without fear or favor to uncover the truth. Our skilled, honest and dedicated lawyers remain hard at work,” the spokesperson added.

On Monday, Jordan had sent a letter to Bragg’s office saying, “in light of the serious consequences of your actions, we expect that you will testify about what plainly appears to be a politically motivated prosecutorial decision.”

“Dear Mr. Bragg,” the letter began. “You are about to engage in an unprecedented abuse of prosecutorial authority: the indictment of a former President of the United States and current declared candidate for that office. This indictment comes after years of your office searching for a basis — any basis — on which to bring charges, ultimately settling on a novel legal theory untested anywhere in the country and one that federal authorities declined to pursue. If these reports are accurate, your actions will erode confidence in the evenhanded application of justice and unalterably interfere in the court of the 2024 presidential election.”

The possible indictment stems from an alleged $130,000 hush money payment made to porn star Stormy Daniels in 2016 over an alleged sexual encounter that the two had in 2006. His former attorney, Michael Cohen, pleaded guilty to charges over the payment in 2018 and was sentenced to three years in prison.

Jordan noted that by July 2019, federal prosecutors determined that no additional people would be charged alongside Cohen.

“Now, in the words of one legal scholar, you are attempting to ‘shoehorn’ the same case with identical facts into a new prosecution, resurrecting a so-called ‘zombie’ case against President Trump,” the letter said. “Even the Washington Post quoted ‘legal experts’ as calling your actions ‘unusual’ because ‘prosecutors have repeatedly examined the long-established details but decided not to pursue charges.”

Attorney Robert Costello Speaks Out after Testimony: “It Was Clear to Me the Manhattan Grand Jury Did Not Want to Get to the Truth” (VIDEO)

Michael Cohen’s former legal advisor Robert Costello on Monday attacked his ex client in front of the Manhattan courthouse.

Robert Costello on Monday appeared before the Manhattan grand jury investigating Trump’s so-called ‘hush payment’ to Stormy Daniels.

In January the Manhattan District Attorney’s office revived its criminal investigation into Trump’s ‘hush payments’ to porn star Stephanie Clifford, AKA, Stormy Daniels and elevated the case from a misdemeanor to a felony.

Trump has been accused of paying Daniels ‘hush payments’ through his then-attorney Michael Cohen in a scheme to silence her and stop the story about their alleged affair from being published in the National Enquirer.

Robert Costello said he appeared before the grand jury to set the record straight since Michael Cohen is a pathological liar.

Costello blasted Michael Cohen as a “convicted perjurer” in remarks to reporters in New York.

Recall, Michael Cohen was previously sentenced to 36 months in prison for lying to Congress, campaign finance violations and tax evasion charges related to his taxi medallion business.

“Michael Cohen is far from solid evidence,” Costello said.

One reporter asked Costello if he thinks he convinced the grand jury against indicting Trump.

Costello said he doesn’t know but he saw a few jurors shaking their heads “yes” agreeing with his assertion that Michael Cohen is a liar.

The prosecutors “cherry picked” 6 emails, Costello said.

Costello said Trump NEVER directed Michael Cohen to pay Stormy Daniels.

Robert Costello, the former legal adviser to Michael Cohen, spoke to Tucker Carlson on Monday night after he testified to Manhattan Grand Jury investigating President Donald Trump.

Robert Costello: I just spent 2 hours or so testifying before the grand jury in downtown Manhattan, and I got my point across. Although it was clear to me that the Manhattan DA’s office did not want to get to the truth, I need to explain that a little bit. I called them up after I saw Michael Cohen on TV stating things that he said he was going to tell the grand jury and had told the grand jury that were contrary to what he told us when we first represented him in April of 2018. So I’m sitting at home watching these lies and I said I’ve got to do something about it. I don’t represent Donald Trump, but I do stand for justice. And I think I have a legal obligation to inform both sides. So that’s what I did.

Costello then told Tucker that Michael Cohen has a “lie, cheat and steal, mindset.”

Robert Costello: And I told them and told the grand jury today I was Deputy Chief of the criminal division of the US. Attorneys for the Southern District. I said I wouldn’t touch a witness like Michael Cohen for any amount of money. You simply cannot rely upon this guy.

CBS reporter Robert Costa took to Twitter on Monday morning and uploaded a video that shows NYPD officers placing steel barricades all around the Manhattan DA’s office.

On Sunday, Costa made an appearance on Face the Nation and stated the DA of Manhattan Alvin Bragg has previously told his colleagues he will do everything to keep his colleagues safe so the barricades outside of Manhattan could be a request from Bragg himself.

Watch NYPD set up the barricades here:

Some barricades have yet to be deployed:

The heightened security comes after Attorney Robert Costello, who was previously a legal adviser to disgraced attorney Michael Cohen, is expected to testify before a Grand Jury on Monday.

It is expected Costello will refute Cohen’s claims against Trump because Cohen has been told to get ready as a rebuttal witness.

Many conservative voices have warned Trump supporters to stay away from any protests outside of the Manhattan DA’s office due to possible agent provocateurs lurking around the scene.

On Sunday, The Gateway Pundit reported “Republican” Presidential candidate John Castro has called for his supporters to bring bats outside of the Manhattan DA’s Office to put Trump supporters “in their place.”

But now it turns out that the Manhattan district attorney’s office, which has Trump in its sights, just may be stepping back from the brink: Business Insider

    reported

Saturday night that Trump’s indictment is “on hold” until one more witness testifies Monday afternoon.

That’s about all that has come to light, as the relevant authorities are being quite closemouthed about this whole thing. Insider says that “a source with knowledge of the investigation” told them on Saturday night “there is one more witness.” The indictment is apparently not a certainty until this witness testifies.

The witness who is supposed to speak in front of the committee is to come before the committee tomorrow.  President Trump shared that the individual is a “highly respected attorney who once represented Michael Cohen”.  He’s supposed to present something conclusive.

JUST REPORTED THAT THE MOST IMPORTANT WITNESS TO GO BEFORE THE NEW YORK CITY GRAND JURY, A HIGHLY RESPECTED LAWYER WHO ONCE REPRESENTED CONVICTED FELON, JAILBIRD, AND SERIAL FAKE STORYTELLER AND LIAR, MICHAEL COHEN, WILL BE DOING SO TOMORROW AFTERNOON. THE INFORMATION HE WILL PRESENT WILL SUPPOSEDLY BE CONCLUSIVE AND IRREFUTABLE! WITCH HUNT!!!

Business Insider reported that the attorney being brought before the Grand Jury is is Giuliani lawyer Robert Costello.

Another attorney who represented Michael Cohen was Lanny Davis.  He’s a friend of the Clintons.

Davis represented Cohen in 2018.  He noted at the time that he was himself a registered foreign agent for a Russian oligarch wanted by the US government and linked to Putin.  (Note that President Trump was virtually the only politician in D.C. not connected to Russia.).

Davis himself previously said that Michael Cohen had no evidence that candidate Trump directed him to pay Stormy Daniels.

CNBC reported a Florida wrinkle that could come into play next week:

Trump, who has 24-hour protection by the U.S. Secret Service, currently resides at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida, which he rarely leaves.

Under Florida law, the state’s governor is responsible for making sure a person in the state is arrested and delivered to another state if that person is indicted on a felony charge.

However, Florida law also gives the governor the power to call for a further investigation before a defendant is extradited if that defendant refuses to comply with extradition.

Fox News reported Friday that talks are in progress to handle Trump’s arrest, whether to handcuff him and fingerprinting.

Jim Hanson called on conservatives to stay calm and not take J6 bait: “This is a dangerous moment Be smart Watch for provocateurs Look for false flags Don’t give them any help”

March 17, 2023 at 05:26PM. HE HAS THE PROOF: DC Gulag Political Prisoner and Decorated Army Special Forces Soldier Jeffrey McKellop Reveals Extent of Government Agents at J6 Capitol Protest – IT WAS A COMPLETE SET-UP! (Audio)

For weeks now The Gateway Pundit was informed about Jeffrey McKellop a decorated former 3rd Special Forces Group soldier and US government contractor. Jeffrey is currently being held in the DC Gulag in Washington DC as a political prisoner after he served his country for 22 years of military service.

Jeffrey has been silenced by his government. After his arrest in March 2021, Jeffrey delved into video footage and documented evidence from January 6. Jeffrey was able to identify numerous government informants and agitators in the massive Trump crowd that day. After he put together his evidence he sent it out to numerous contacts. That was when the FBI came into his prison cell and took his research. They then attempted to silence him and banned him from phone and mail privileges.

Jeffrey’s trial is scheduled to start in April, 2023. He has been in prison for two years TODAY without a trial. He was arrested on March 17, 2021.

On Thursday Jeffrey McKellop called The Gateway Pundit. We had a long conversation with Jeffrey. And we were blown away. Jeffrey McKellop dropped BOMB after BOMB!

Jeffrey came from abject poverty and abuse and ran away from home as a young teen. But he did not let this hold him down. Jeffrey focused himself and became a decorated Special Forces Group soldier. What a story he has to tell! Hopefully someday we can all hear it in person.

I am not exaggerating when I say this was one of the most explosive interviews TGP has had with a DC Gulag political prisoner. Jeffrey is bright, honest, and brave. His background enabled him to see the crowd control and horrible police abuse from that day. And Jeffrey is not afraid to names names.

Please take the time to listen to what Jeffrey McKellop has to say about January 6 – the greatest government set-up in American history.

We have posted much the 43 minute transcript below.

Jeffrey asked if we could post his fundraiser page so he can help his children. The government took everything from this American patriot.

From the audio interview: (Please forgive the typing while during the interview- lesson learned)

Jeffrey McKellop: Okay. I’ll give you a quick bio. My name is Jeff Mckellop. I was born in 1965 to biker parents in Los Angeles, California, actually in San I’m Pedro in Long Beach, and I moved north with my mother and my brother to Sacramento, where we stayed for the rest of my years. I ran away from home when I was 15 and never looked back. Kept moving forward. Actually, it was pretty fun. I lived in a water pump, old abandoned water pump house on the Sacramento River outside of West Sacramento for a little bit before I met a couple, John and Cindy Jones, who took me in. I was mowing their lawn and pulling weeds one day, and they asked me if I had a place to stay. And I showed them where I lived there. Like, holy shit. Anyway, so they helped me get through high school, and I left that and got into college. But college wasn’t for me. So one day I was walking down the street with a girlfriend in Chico, California, by the recruiting station. Saw at the army recruiter, just a bunch of guys paddling down the river, all CAMBOD up.

And I was like, oh, hell yeah, I want to do that. And one day in class I stood up, left all my shit behind, man. Walked away. Left my bike, backpack, all of it, man. Enjoyed the service for 22 years. I did a short stint with Second Range Battalion, and then I got into the Special Forces. In the last ten years of my military career, I served for 20 years in the military and another eight years as an individual contractor, an independent contractor for the government. Never been arrested. Hold a TS clearance for decades. –  Tthen January 6 changed my life completely. I’ve never been to a rally before. My buddy asked me to go. I told him I didn’t want to. I’m like, look, dude, I can’t do that because Antifa and BLM are going to be there, and you know if we go, that there’s going to be issues, man. And when I stood back and started when we got there and everybody moved to the capital, I was like, wow, this is pretty exhilarating, man.

This was unbelievable. That this many people could be so angry. I’ve never been in a situation like that. It’s pretty ominous. And then I just started watching MPD, beating innocent women. And they beat an elderly woman like you wouldn’t believe, dude. Sergeant Riley and Corporal Glenn Lamborghini of the MPD were beating relentlessly, man, just likr somebody told them to do it. Like, it was their job to start engaging innocent people, man. And that’s how I got drawn into it.

Jim Hoft: Where was that that they were beating that woman and is there video of it? And has anybody written about that?

Jeffrey McKellop: I’ve written about it constantly, and I have watched personally hundreds and hundreds of hours of body cam footage, and the names I’m about to tell you right now, and the accounts that have taken place are true. And I’ve watched it many times with my own eyes. Okay.

A man named Tim Rivers and Lydia Sorrow, have been supporting me in here because I have no money, dude. I begged and pleaded with the FBI. Jeffrey Johannes, undercover agent with the FBI. Mr. Jeffrey Johannes. I begged and pleaded with him, please let me out just for a couple of weeks so I can secure my things. I have lost my house, my bank accounts, my IRA, my mutual fund. I lost my badass bicycle, my car, all my clothes, all my military gear.

I have nothing. Literally, I have nothing. There is nothing left because they crashed my house when I wasn’t there. When nobody was there – They came for me, man, and I beg to plead it with the courts. Please give me bond. No, we’ll have none of that. Judge Dickles(sp) As he was speaking with the prosecution, and they’re all bobbing their little heads up and down in agreement like good little disciples. And here I sit. Man And I even told Kianaga(sp), my last attorney, the guy had never even looked at any of the videos, never did anything, man. He was just going to go for some dynamic I’m a plea deal, man. I’m like, dude, are we going to look at the evidence?

The nNext thing I know it I’m getting an eight to ten-year plea deal. A ten to twelve-year plea deal. A twelve to 15-year plea deal.

    Jim Hoft: Oh, my God.

Jeffrey McKellop:  Yeah, man. I’m like, dude, did I kill somebody that day? I mean, did I rob a bank and shoot the hostage? I’m like, how many people did I whack, man? I’m like, I’ve never been arrested before. How could you get this?  That’s a death sentence, man? I’ll be almost 80 years old by the time I get out of here.

Jim Hoft:  I know that you have done a lot of research, that you’re very bright, that you understand what happened there more than anyone. I don’t know. I’m going to record this and put this up. It’d be great eventually if we could get some footage, actually. I understand that’s going to be very difficult or just I’ll put the transcript up, but it’d be great to just hear you explain what you found, and it sounds like you’re saying that there were a lot of federal operatives. Do you believe, that they were there that day?

Jeffrey McKellop:  I know for a fact that there were undercover agents, man. I saw them. I spotted it. And when you find one, then you know what to look for, and then you find them. All undercover agents, they all wear the same thing. They all move the same way. They all get together the same way. Why do I know these? Because I used to do the same thing. Spaghetti cord, two way systems in the ear. I was like, holy shit. Is that what that guy’s got on us? – I watched this one on the Western Terrace, this one door, actually, it was on the East Terrace. It shows Capitol Police come up, man, and they’ve got a yellow bag. Always remember, follow the yellow bag. Follow the yellow bag and watch for the man in blue, all right? And the Capitol Police come up, and they drop the bag on the ground, and two sets of double sided flex cups fall to the ground.

They stand around. They bullshit. The guy reaches down, and I’m watching him, he looks directly at the flex cuffs, grabs the bag because the bag was open, and picks it up, and then they all walk inside, leaving the flex cuffs on the ground. People walk back and forth. I’m going to cut out the bullshit, okay? And so people walk around. They’re doing this, they’re doing that. Nobody touches the equipment on the ground. And all of a sudden, this guy walks up.

Military Spec haircut, aviator sunglasses, nondescript blue top, 511 style pants, Merrill or North Face shoes, hiking boot. Hiking shoe, hiking boot. Reaches down, grabs the set of the cuffs, puts them on the door, tries them out, throws it on the ground, grabs the other side, and then zip strips both the door handles closed and walks away. Moments later this is good moments later, probably about a few minutes later, the doors start being beat open. Beat open, beat open. And then the flex cups break. Everybody comes spilling out. Capitol Police and MPD and civilians alike. Somebody is inside with a fire extinguisher spraying people down, all right? And it calms down. It goes on, it goes on, goes on, goes on. And everybody calms down. And they go back inside, the doors closed. They come back out with the Capitol Police again later on, and they still have the bag in their hand. They set the bag down, they mill around, they grab the bag and they go out. I’m like, what the hell is up with this bag? And then, lo and behold, here it comes. Later on, here comes this geek, and I’m going to get to this some geeked out woman and a geeked out black man in Trump gear.

And they look stupid as sin. Hat, scarf, face, pants, all this stuff. And she’s carrying the green bag and the yellow bag, and this guy’s got a black roll away pelican case. And they stand there with this stuff and they set it down on the ground and they walk away. I’m like, holy shit. What is this? Next thing you know, a curiosity killed the cat. Satisfaction brought him back. The people come up, they open up the bag, they start pulling out the flex cuffs, they pull out a clipboard, they open up the black pelican case, and they pull out MPD body armor, MPD helmets, and Pecans a bullhorn. And they’re trying the stuff. How do I know it’s MPD? Because it says police on the body armor and it says police on the helmets. And they’re pulling all this stuff out and they’re wandering around.

Yeah, they’re all excited and they take off. I’m like, this is unbelievable. This is staged. This is completely staged. Who loses control of all those items in a riot? Are you kidding me? The next thing you know, it, Here come MPD. One guy’s got a bullhorn, one guy’s got a baton. They walk up, they put the equipment in the black box, shut the black box, and then walk away. And this rose by suspicion that there are actors and players in the crowds. So I’m sitting there and I’m watching this video, and all of a sudden the camera angle moves. The camera moves to the left, and then it comes back to the right. And I’m like, Holy shit. Whoever is in the control room is monitoring the actors and they are giving him the cues, they’re giving him directions, they’re giving them the high sign to do whatever damage they need to do. There’s so much, man. And I’m like, Holy crap, this is unbelievable. So that’s just one camera angle.

I’ve been saying this for a year and a half now, that antifa were there, antifa and BLM were there, but they changed their chameleons, man. They look like us, they dress like us, they act like us, and then they committed violence in our name. That is guerrilla warfare. And that’s exactly what this dude was talking about on  Vince Coglianese  yesterday on 159 after 03:00. I can’t remember the time, but I might say the words dude say guerrilla warfare and it’ll solidify the deal. He said everything else, that they were antifa and BLM were designed to do everything except call it guerrilla warfare, man. This is terrorist act.

Jim Hoft: Could I ask you a couple of questions quick, Jeffrey? One was, were these operatives I guess we call them operatives were they all dressed the same? Typically. And do you think the operatives you saw, were they aware of each other? I know the FBI had operatives there. They’ve admitted it. We know that the DOJ had some people there. We know that Metro Police had people there undercover. So do you think they identified each other, or do you think they were working independently?

Jeffrey McKellop:  I’ll get to that, too, man. I’ve covered all bases, all right? So this is how it works, all right? Every group of people have to have a handler. In any military aspect that we do, you have to have a platoon sergeant or a team sergeant or a commander that tells the team sergeant what to do. And then it goes down all the way to the lowest private, to the foot soldier. All right, now we’ll start with the MP. No, we’ll go back. All right, you have the civilians that were in the crowd. And these are teams that I found. They’re the yellow tape crew, the red tape crew, the Gadsden Flag crew. And then you had the Orange hat crew. They were all identifying themselves by wearing a piece of yellow, red or the Gaston Flag tape, or patch on their helmet, their shoulder, their chest, their back, or whatever. I found a guy that had two rolls of red tape attached to his back so his Cohorts can come up. If they lose their identification of their signature, they can rip another piece off and slap it back on. Or if they get another player, they can add to the masses by giving them an identification code.

These people got together when I first saw him, they got together inside the Capitol. I’m like, look at this guy with the red tape on his hat. I bet he gets together with somebody else. Sure enough, moments later, four or five of them got together, started pointing, ushering people into different chambers, ushering people into doors, breaking windows, disturbing things.

Yeah, that’s how they identified themselves. And they’re crisis actors, okay? These people are crisis actors. It’s the airsoft people. It’s the paramilitary groups. It’s the geeks, the freaks, the guys that couldn’t make it in the army or wherever. And they get together after playing airsoft, and they talk about this stuff, like I said, with antifa. They were utilizing guerrilla warfare. Okay? They act like patriots. They look like patriots, but they’re creating damage in our name. And then they would disperse and go to another location or wherever they sharpen their knives. All right, so the yellow and red tape crews were pretty prominent in the capital. The Gaston flags. You’ll see them, man, they’re waving the Don’t Tread on me flag. And then all of a sudden, you started seeing these they’re waving this flag around like it’s a staging point or something. And I’m like, check this guy out. I’m going to throw something else at you here in a moment. These guys are animals in here. It’s like a bunch of simians, man. They got together and then they would do their thing and they would disperse. But how do they know where to go?

How do they know to get together? They all had walkie talkies. They had two way calm systems. You have to have a handler. Whoever was in the control booth was controlling the people on the ground. Whether it was the undercover provocateurs, the crisis actors, the undercover agents, whoever hell it was, or the MPD or Capitol Police. They have to have somebody that eyes on the ground and eyes in the air in order to control the mobs because there was just too many things going on at once. Now look at the MPD, all right? They got out there. They formed the skirmish line. I was one of two to 300 people on the southwest terrace to make it up onto the platform. And we didn’t go any farther past the line or anything or their gates and stuff that they had. But people were acting weird, man. And it didn’t dawn on me until later on. There was a guy, come on, we got to get him. He’s trying to motivate. We got to fucking do this, we got to do that. But he’s motivating people, all right?

So what I’m saying is three elements will start a riot. You have two of the three elements and it’ll start violence in any crowd. You have the instigators, the agitators and the motivators. Instigators, agitators and motivators. The Instigators are breaking the shit. The Agitators is what I came in contact with. They were just beating on the ground. They were throwing stuff up and down on the ground, slapping the pavement. They had a stick. They were beating on the gate. They were making noise, but they weren’t doing anything. They weren’t hurting anybody. But they were agitating the crowd to make it look like it’s violence. And this is in my discovery. This is what the prosecution gave me, man. I’m like, look at this guy right here, man. This is guys, Instigating and Agitating people and motivating, man. I’m like, he’s got all the three right here. Why isn’t he in here with us? Oh, because he was a player.

Jim Hoft:  Wow.  Let me ask you this, Jeffrey. What about the police who started firing on people with the gas canisters without a warning? How would you classify that? As an instigator? An agitator?

Jeffrey McKellop:  I watched the sissies on their bicycles. Team 54, 64 and 74 ride up from the street all the way from the start to the finish. Officers (sp) Cow, tyndall crispin, harrows bagshaw, smiley lamborghini, hawkins, edwards riley. crispin, bagshaw. Augustine.

These are just some of the names off the top of my head that I have written down and sent out to countless people. If you were one of the few fortunate people that got my message in a bottle, then you would know what I’m talking about. These guys came to whip ass as soon as Creston loaded up a bag full of Mark 46 with a deadly or dangerous weapon. CS Canisters and Tara Tindall had a bag full of 40 millimeter grenade launch ammunition. She was not only unauthorized to shoot that weapon, she asked Sergeant Edwards of the MPD, hey, is this legal? Can I fire this thing? He’s like, yeah, go ahead. Shoot that right there. Get that guy right there. Shoot it into the crowd. And she was shooting people point blank with this thing, man. That’s a deadly weapon, dude. It’s either Daniel or David Tau, sergeant of the MPD, who he was in it to win it…  That dude was everywhere at once shooting people, handcuffing tasing people, beating people, relentlessly masing people with no provocation. He was instigating, agitating, and motivating his teams to incite more violence, and that is what they did.

    Sergeant Thau.

Here’s the names one more time. Of the biggest offenders that day were Tau, Tyndall, Crestman, Harrows, Bagshaw Augustine, Edwards, Riley Lamborghini, Patera, Hawkins, Hardy. The FBI came to my cell one day. This facility has never seen anything like it because I was putting all this information out. People have to know, man, what the hell happened? Sure. So the FBI got wind of my messages in a bottle, dude, and they came to my cell, and they handcuffed me like a dog to the railing outside, making fun of me at the same time. No big deal. There were sissies. What were they wearing? 511 style pants, Merrill shoes, nondescript blue or checkerboard top. And they all wear the same thing. They can’t help it, man. And they took all my notes, all my records of court, everything. Anything that had writing on it, they took. So that was the end of that. And I don’t get mail in here anymore. I don’t get books. I don’t get anything.

Jim Hoft:  So if somebody writes you, you don’t even get that anymore?

McKellop:  No, I haven’t had anything like that for about a year and a half.

Jim Hoft:   How do they justify that? Is there a justification?

Please listen to the rest of the audio.  It is very informative on what really happened on January 6 and how the US government treats its political prisoners.

What an absolute tragedy.  It is infuriating
