Professor Zinn: “The American people had no [independent] sources of information except the government, and the main stream press…uh, all ignored the…what I think are…the reasons behind 9-11, and that is, American foreign policy…”. Zinn goes on to cite the official 9-11 Commission Report which documents “the reason behind 9-11 was the opposition and resentment of Arab nations, and all through the middle east towards American foreign policy, and against American military intervention; against the policies of Israel and Palestine & the stationing of troops”.
Zinn states that the report also pointed out that the details of the analysis by the commission were buried in hundreds of pages about 9-11, and the American people would not have gone along with these wars if this information was revealed in the very beginning. It hasn’t been revealed until 10 years later.
