2 min readMillie Weaver an Investigative Journalist talked with Pete Santilli about a shocking government report about the potential to hack into hospital ventilators.
Here is part of their discussion:
SANTILLI SAID: “Now we know that it’s all about remote control with respect to electronics from your desktop computer to the possibility of a voting machine that got Wireless technology in vehicles, they can operate autonomously of course, and remote controlling them. And then fast-forwarding to our conversation just a couple weeks ago, the possibility of tapping into Electronics on life-saving equipment, such as ventilators. A frightening Prospect but I want you to say this responsibly and I say responsible, you’re an investigative journalist who is here to tell us about the facts. Is there a possibility that equipment such as ventilators could be remotely controlled through the technology?”
WEAVER SAID: “Both could be accessed by Bad actors. Yes. Just from the research that I’ve done. I mean they even publicly stated it. You know what’s interesting is that the size of essentially came out and they did a press release. Basically, giving the public notice that there was a bad a lock vulnerability that affected blackberry’s qnx operating systems which also included the operating systems inside of their hospital equipment, including ventilators. And what was really suspicious about this was that
