BLACK LIVE$ MATTER EXPOSED: Spent at least $12M on luxury properties in LA, Toronto

May 19, 2022 at 06:48AM BLM spent at least $12M on luxury properties in LA, Toronto: tax filing

Black Lives Matter spent millions on luxury properties in Los Angeles and Toronto, according to the first public accounting of its finances.

In Canada, Toronto-based non-profit M4BJ purchased a 10,000-square-foot downtown property for the equivalent of $6.3 million. The former headquarters of the Canadian communist party was named the Wildseed Centre for Art and Activism by Canadian BLM members who said it was purchased using cash from BLMGNF.

The purchase of the Toronto home was part of an $8 million “out of country grant” in North America, to conduct “activities to educate and support black communities, and to purchase and renovate property for charitable use,” according to BLMGNF’s latest federal tax filing for fiscal year 2020. The group said it planned to use the space as its main office in Canada.

It’s unclear where the remaining $1.7 million “out of country grant” went. In 2021, sources told The Post that BLMGNF had purchased a luxury condo in the Bahamas in the same beach-front resort where Tiger Woods and Justin Timberlake have homes. Cullors vigorously denied that the group had purchased property on the islands.

The IRS filing also lists the group’s Los Angeles compound as an asset. In October 2020, BLMGNF secretly bought a sprawling mansion in Los Angeles, spending nearly $6 million on the purchase of the Studio City compound, which includes a soundstage, six bedrooms and a swimming pool.

According to tax documents, Black Lives Matter has spent millions of dollars on luxury real estate — including a mansion in Studio City, California.

Cullors recently admitted that she threw two parties at the swanky compound — a birthday bash for her son and a soiree to celebrate President Joe Biden’s presidential win in 2020. Tax filings show that she paid back BLMGNF $390 for “the use of real estate.”

  • Mic Drop: Witness at House Abortion Hearing Leaves Jamie Raskin Stunned

Mic Drop: Witness at House Abortion Hearing Leaves Jamie Raskin Stunned

May 19, 2022 at 05:14AM Witness at House Abortion Hearing Leaves Jamie Raskin ‘Reclaiming’ His Time After Devastating Rebuttal

The House hosted a hearing covering abortion on Wednesday, and the depravity of the left was on full display. In some heated back and forths, Democrat witnesses exposed positions that will make your stomach turn.

For example, an abortion doctor made the claim that someone is not a “human being” until they are physically born.

It’s hard to fathom how someone can so smugly proclaim such evil, but that’s exactly what we see in that video clip. The idea that having a birthday bestows humanity on someone is a despicable assertion. Those are the kinds of arguments that justified slavery. Besides, it’s scientifically untrue. We know that a baby in the womb is a human being, and to say it isn’t is lunacy. But the left will say just about anything to support their lust for abortion.

Later, Chip Roy pegged the same witness down on how late she’s aborted a baby and whether she’s handled baby parts, a common occurrence in abortion clinics. She laughably objected, claiming Roy was using “inflammatory language.”

That’s not the clip I’m writing this article for, though. Rather, I want to point to one of the pro-life witnesses, Catherine Glenn Foster of Americans United for Life, who managed to completely elbow drop Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD). You may know Raskin from his leadership role on the January 6th committee.

This is what happens when Democrats are actually challenged on their views regarding abortion (or any topic, really). One of the most common misdirections the left uses to justify the barbaric practice until birth is the topic of rape and incest. It doesn’t matter that such instances represent a tiny fraction of abortions, with most estimates coming in around one percent, Democrats do not want to talk about the realities of what they actually support. Because of that, they constantly hide behind a facade of concern about rape and incest exceptions.

In this case, Foster was ready with the perfect rebuttal. She immediately asks Raskin, “If we added rape and incest exemptions, would you vote for it?” That left the Democrat rushing to “reclaim” his time so he could keep reading his prepared statement without answering the question.

Why can’t he answer it? Because Raskin knows as well as anyone else that bringing up rape and incest is a red herring. Republicans could come out today offering full federal legalization of abortion in the case of rape and incest while banning elective abortions and not a single Democrat would sign onto the bill. Given that, there’s no reason to even talk about rape and incest in these discussions because it’s obviously irrelevant.

Raskin is a mental weakling, though, and he thought he could snipe at the Foster without getting any pushback. She had other ideas, and watching her smirk in response to his idiocy is just priceless. Make Democrats own what they support. Stop letting them dance around the realities of abortion. The more Republicans do that, the more they’ll continue to turn the tide.

May 19, 2022 at 05:15AM Democrat Witness Tells Lawmakers Men Can Get Pregnant and Have Abortions

Pro-life and pro-abortion advocates testified before the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday.

One Democrat witness told lawmakers that men can get pregnant and have abortions.

    Welcome to hell.

GOP Rep. Dan Bishop (NC) asked abortion advocate Aimee Arrambide to define what “a woman is” – and her response summed up the Marxist-Democrat part in a nutshell.

“I believe that everyone can identify for themselves,” Arrambide said.

“Do you believe that men can become pregnant and have abortions?” Rep Bishop asked.

    “Yes,” Arrambide said.

So men are allowed to have opinions on abortion now?

DHS Shuts Down Biden’s Ministry of Truth After Fierce Backlash

May 18, 2022 at 04:39PM  DHS Shuts Down Biden’s Ministry of Truth After Fierce Backlash

The Biden administration is putting its Orwellian Disinformation Governance Board on “pause” just three weeks after rolling it out.

Multiple employees with the Department of Homeland Security said that its Disinformation Governance Board has been shut down on Monday, according to The Washington Post.

Its chair, Nina Jankowicz aka the “Mary Poppins of Disinformation”, submitted her letter of resignation a day later.

“But Tuesday night, Jankowicz was pulled into an urgent call with DHS officials who gave her the choice to stay on, even as the department’s work was put on hold because of the backlash it faced, according to multiple people with knowledge of the call,” The Post reported.

The DHS lashed out against free speech advocates following the board’s shutdown, vowing to continue its “disinformation work” one way or another:

“Nina Jankowicz has been subjected to unjustified and vile personal attacks and physical threats,” a DHS spokesperson told WaPo in a statement. “In congressional hearings and in media interviews, the Secretary has repeatedly defended her as eminently qualified and underscored the importance of the Department’s disinformation work, and he will continue to do so.”

The Disinformation Governance Board faced intense criticism as soon as it was announced last April, prompting DHS chief Alejandro Mayorkas to come out in defense of the board, claiming it wouldn’t police free speech.

“It’s clear, I mean, those criticisms are precisely the opposite of what this small working group within the Department of Homeland Security will do,” Mayorkas said. “And I think we probably could have done a better job of communicating what it does and does not do. The fact is that disinformation that creates a threat to the security of the homeland is our responsibility to address. And this department has been addressing it for years.”

The DHS announcement of the board came just days after billionaire Elon Musk declared he would buy Twitter to restore free speech.

Jankowicz’s ridiculous antics and accusations that anybody who doesn’t subscribe to the official government narrative are “conspiracy theorists” also compounded the backlash.

The Biden administration’s blatant effort to censor free speech was so egregious that 20 attorneys general demanded the DHS disband the disinformation board.

The coup de grace came Monday when Revolver News released a damning report revealing that Jankowicz and the board itself are a product of a now-defunct clandestine psychological operation project funded by NATO called the “Integrity Initiative.”

“The Integrity Initiative ‘defended democracy’ by recruiting secretive ‘clusters’ of academics, national security bureaucrats, journalists, think tankers, and lobbyists in multiple European countries. These clusters would then be engaged in various ways to address nation-specific threats of so-called ‘Russian disinformation,’” Revolver News reported.

Infamous doxxer Taylor Lorenz blamed the Ministry of Truth’s demise on social media in the WaPo article titled, “How the Biden administration let right-wing attacks derail its disinformation efforts.”

“Jankowicz’s experience is a prime example of how the right-wing Internet apparatus operates, where far-right influencers attempt to identify a target, present a narrative and then repeat mischaracterizations across social media and websites with the aim of discrediting and attacking anyone who seeks to challenge them,” Lorenz wrote Wednesday.

  • Mainstream Media Covers Up Ukrainian Azov Surrender In Mariupol

Mainstream Media Covers Up Ukrainian Azov Surrender In Mariupol

May 18, 2022 at 06:39AM   Mainstream Media Covers Up Ukrainian Azov Surrender In Mariupol

264 Ukrainian soldiers, including 53 severely wounded ones, surrendered to Russian forces on Monday after months of being holed up in the Azovstal iron and steelworks plant in Mariupol, Ukraine.

However, if you were one of the millions of people around the world who only consume mainstream media, you’d likely think the Ukrainian military voluntarily retreated from the city after a job well done.

Dinosaur media outlets like CNN, The Washington Post, The New York Times and several others framed the surrender as Ukraine troops “fulfilling their combat mission” or “ending” the battle and “evacuating” the Azovstal plant.

Perhaps global media is simply regurgitating what Ukrainian officials are reporting, as the Associated Press specifically noted, “Ukraine didn’t use the word ‘surrender.’”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called the surrender “a difficult day.”

A statement released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine praised the soldiers who surrendered, saying, “The defenders of Mariupol are heroes of our time. They will forever be marked down in history. This includes the special ‘Azov’ unit, the 12th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, the 36th Separate Brigade of Marines, border guards, police, volunteers, the Territorial Defense of Mariupol.”

The Azov unit is the specific brigade of the Ukrainian military associated with the massive neo-Nazi movement popular among many of the country’s nationalists.

Interestingly, the Azov Batallion’s logo uses the Sonnenrad, which is a Nazi symbol used by both the Buffalo mass shooter and the Christchurch shooter.

Russia’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations Dmitry Polyanskiy joked that he didn’t know there were so many ways in the English language to convey the message that the Azov Nazis surrendered.

Footage proving the Ukrainian troops in fact surrendered and were taken back to Russian-controlled territory has been posted online.

Independent journalist Patrick Lancaster published an update on the battle for Mariupol on Tuesday.

  • Pentagon to reveal truth about UFO files in rare senate hearing

Pentagon to reveal truth about UFO files in rare senate hearing

May 17, 2022 at 06:21AM Pentagon to reveal truth about UFO files in rare senate hearing

Congress is due to hold its first hearing on unidentified flying objects (UFOs) in decades on Tuesday—a sign that defense officials are taking the phenomenon seriously.

Usually reserved for the world of science fiction or dubious conspiracy theories, UFOs, or unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) as the government now refers to them, have remained a pop culture sensation for years and are often linked to some sort of intelligent alien civilization visiting Earth.

Perhaps less far-fetched is the idea that UFOs/UAPs could also be foreign military aircraft—or perhaps particularly secretive domestic military aircraft.

A screenshot (Inset) taken from the “GIMBAL” video provided by the Department of Defense showing a UAP captured on camera by a U.S. Navy fighter jet in 2015. File photos of Congress (L) and a UFO (R). Congress is scheduled to hold hearings on UFOs for the first time in decades.

Either way, while many UAP reports might be easily dismissed due to their anecdotal nature or lack of accompanying evidence, the issue has clearly become too big to ignore for U.S. defense officials who say reports should be taken seriously for matters of national security.

In 2021, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence released a nine-page report on UAPs that investigated 144 reports from U.S. government sources between 2004 and 2021, including 80 involving observation with multiple sensors and 11 reports of “near misses” between pilots and UAPs.

The report didn’t reveal anything about what UAPs actually were, except that some of them displayed what were described as “unusual” flight characteristics including moving quickly “without discernible means of propulsion.”

The report stated that UAPs “pose a hazard to safety of flight and could pose a broader danger if some instances represent sophisticated collection against U.S. military activities by a foreign government or demonstrate a breakthrough aerospace technology by a potential adversary.”

On Tuesday, the Subcommittee on Counterterrorism, Counterintelligence, and Counterproliferation will hold a hearing on UAPs starting at 9 a.m. in Washington, D.C.

The hearing will include testimony from two defense officials: Ronald Moultrie, under secretary of defense for intelligence and security, and Scott Bray, deputy director of naval intelligence, according to The New York Times.

John Kirby, Pentagon press secretary, was asked about the meeting during a press briefing on May 10. He said he “didn’t want to get ahead” of the meeting but added: “We are absolutely committed to being as transparent as we can with the American people and with members of Congress about our perspectives on this and what we’re going to try to do to make sure we have a better process for identifying these phenomena, analyzing that information in a more proactive, coordinated way than it’s been done in the past, and that we also are doing what we need to do to mitigate any safety issues as many of these phenomena have been sighted in training ranges and in training environments.”

Asked whether he was concerned that UAPs might be a foreign adversary, Kirby replied: “We don’t have a view on that,” but he stressed that better reporting processes were being put in place to help collect information.

“It’s been sort of ad hoc in the past, in terms of a pilot here and a pilot there seeing something and the reporting procedures haven’t been consistent,” he added.

Update, 5/16/22, 11:23 a.m. ET: This article has been updated to reflect the new time of the hearing.

Busted: Biden’s “Minster of Truth” Nina Jankowicz Participated in Secret NATO-Funded Cabal to Subvert Western Democracies Using Disinformation as Cover

May 16, 2022 at 05:14PM  (TB092) Busted: Biden’s “Minster of Truth” Nina Jankowicz Participated in Secret NATO-Funded Cabal to Subvert Western Democracies Using Disinformation as Cover

As Revolver and others have covered, Nina “Moaning Myrtle” Jankowicz is a joke. The Harry Potter superfan-turned-propagandrix is now the Biden Administration’s chosen head for the “Disinformation Governance Board.” Among many other embarrassing videos in circulation is the following clip of Nina Jankowicz bizarrely and emphatically dismissing the notion of the so-called “deep state.”

For those who can’t stand uptalk, here’s what she said in the video:

Talking about the deep state and things like that which is a thread among conspiracy communities here in the United States, that there is this secret cabal here in Washington working to undermine the American people couldn’t be further from the truth, as someone who works with and around these public servants every day.

Whatever one thinks of the precise term “deep state,” Nina badly wants everyone to dismiss the very concept of secret groups operating within Washington. She works “with and around” them after all, and she says such a cabal or network of cabals does not exist.

In fact, Nina does know the truth, and it’s the opposite of what she claims above. Nina’s name appeared in one of the most explosive and aggressively censored national security leaks of the century. The leak in question exposed the “Integrity Initiative,” a dark government-funded NGO that appears to have engaged in political meddling and covert influence operations in Western countries under the guise of fighting “disinformation.”

Founded in mid-2015 under the auspices of the U.K. government-funded NGO “Institute for Statecraft,” the Integrity Initiative boasted a precociously fashionable motto: “Defending Democracy Against Disinformation.”

The Integrity Initiative “defended democracy” by recruiting secretive “clusters” of academics, national security bureaucrats, journalists, think tankers, and lobbyists in multiple European countries. These clusters would then be engaged in various ways to address nation-specific threats of so-called “Russian disinformation.”

In its organization, funding, operation, structure, and rhetoric the Integrity Initiative is the single best template for understanding how the entire hornets’ nest of NGOs, journalists, and “national security” bureaucrats work secretly and in concert to wage psychological warfare against citizens of the West. One cannot understand how the Disinformation Industry functions without understanding the little-known (and now defunct) Integrity Initiative.

Thankfully, before its demise, hackers leaked a huge swath of internal documents from the Integrity Initiative. More on that leak in a moment, but for now, here is an official description of the “clusters” from one of those leaked documents:

Full text transcribed here for readability (emphasis ours):

    The network of networks:

The Integrity Initiative was set up in autumn 2015 by the Institute for Statecraft in cooperation with the Free University of Brussels (VUB) to bring to the attention of politicians, policy-makers, opinion leaders and other interested parties the threat posed by Russia to democratic institutions in the United Kingdom, across Europe and North America

The Integrity Initiative Aims to unite people who understand the threat, in order to provide a coordinated Western response to Russian disinformation and other elements of hybrid warfare.

The nature of this response needs to render counter productive the Russian tactic of dividing countries internally and from one another. This will be the case if each Russian information and influence attack provokes the country targeted into sharing analysis of the attack with other countries in the network on a governmental basis, thereby increasing collaboration and Alliance cohesion. NATO’s political Committee can play an important role here.

An effective network is best achieved by forming in each European country a cluster of well-informed people from the political, military, academic,  journalistic and think-tank spheres, who will track and analyze examples of disinformation in their country and inform decision-makers and other interested parties about what is happening.

Nina Jankowicz’s name appears in a 2018 leak as a member of the “inner core” of the Integrity Initiative’s U.K. Cluster, specifically in the sub-group dedicated to Russia.

Another name that appears alongside Nina Jankowicz’s in the leaked documents as a member of the “inner core” of the U.K. cluster dealing with Russia is Anne Applebaum. Revolver briefly touched upon Applebaum’s apparent involvement in the Integrity Initiative in an earlier piece.

Read More: Dark New Dem Bill Uses “Counter American Intelligence” To Wage War on MAGA

Applebaum was last seen refusing to comment on the coordinated cover-up of Hunter Biden’s laptop. Applebaum’s apparent fellow “inner core” cluster wingman Nina Jankowicz repeatedly amplified the U.S. intelligence community’s discredited claim that the Hunter Biden laptop was a Russian disinformation operation:

From the Integrity Initiative’s formal description of “clusters” above it is somewhat difficult to infer what sort of activity Nina Jankowicz may have been involved in. But as luck would have it, the leaks included documents describing the activity of the Integrity Initiative’s Spanish cluster.

In 2018, Spain’s ruling party attempted to appoint Pedro Baños as head of the country’s national security department. The Integrity Initiative’s Spanish cluster as well as several U.K. associates immediately leapt into action to sabotage the appointment of this allegedly “pro-Kremlin” official. The following document from the leaks details their efforts:

    Transcript (emphasis ours):

Midday: (II) Integrity Initiative Spanish cluster hear that a well known pro-Kremlin voice Pedro Baños is to be appointed as Director of the National Security Department, which works closely with the Spanish PMs office (La Moncloa) and is very influential in shaping policy

14:00: Spanish cluster leader alerts other cluster members and prepares a dossier to inform the main Spanish media. The cluster starts a campaign on Twitter to try to prevent the appointment.

15:45: Spanish cluster leader alerts Integrity Initiative UK Team which activates the Integrity Initiative network to generate international support for the Twitter campaign

UK team creates a WhatsApp group to coordinate the Twitter response, get contacts on Twitter to spread awareness and get people retweeting the material. Publishes opinion piece by Nico de Pedro on StopFake’s Spanish website, which was also retweeted by key influencers.

Cluster send material to El Pais and El Mundo to publish and alert contacts at UK and French Embassies.

    Outcome

By 19:45 Spanish Cluster assesses that the campaign has generated significant noise on Twitter. Contacts in the Socialist Party confirm that the PM has received the message. Some Spanish diplomats also express concerns

The result of the Integrity Initiative’s campaign was swift and decisive. After a week of lobbying, then-Spanish prime minister Pedro Sanchez named a different man to the post.

Despite ostensibly “defending democracy against disinformation,” the Integrity Initiative’s clusters operated in the shadows to interfere with yet another political event in Spain. Consider the following from a leaked Integrity Initiative “Progress Report:

    Integrity Spain

Our first cluster, set up in January 2017, is headed by an academic currently at CIDOB, a Barcelona-based think tank. The inaugural seminar was co-sponsored by HQ NATO and addressed Russian malign influence in Eastern Europe and North Africa. A second inaugural session was held soon thereafter at the ECFR think tank in Madrid to ensure a balanced national coverage. This clusters draws it participants from academia, the media, civil servants and military and several political parties. Its main means of influence is through academic papers and especially through articles, written by independent journalists in newspapers like El Pais, based on material provided anonymously by the cluster. This cluster produced a major study on Russian influence in the Catalan referendum process which was circulated privately to key influencers in Spain, including the PM’s office, and throughout Europe on the Integrity Initiative network.

    [Integrity Initiative]

Just like with the Baños incident, the government-backed Integrity Initiative injected itself into a political matter — this time the Catalan independence movement.

A couple things are especially noteworthy about the operations described above.

First, we note the sinister irony that the NATO-funded Integrity Initiative, whose ostensible purpose is to “Defend Democracy Against Disinformation,” was caught red-handed conducting a secretive influence operation to meddle in the internal politics of Spain, a democratic NATO member.

Second, we note how crucial — indeed, indispensable — the social media platform Twitter was to the influence operations in question. It is precisely the importance of Twitter as a theater for U.S., U.K., and NATO backed psychological influence operations that informed our analysis of Elon Musk’s attempt to purchase the platform. We weren’t exaggerating when we described Elon’s threat to allow free speech and transparency on Twitter as a “declaration of war” against the Regime. As the Integrity Initiative’s use of the platform shows, Twitter’s value to U.S.-aligned intelligence agencies as a friendly ground for influence operations far exceeds its nominal value as a technology company.

Read More: The Battle of the Century: Here’s What Happens if Elon Musk Buys Twitter

Throughout this article so far, we have repeatedly referred to the Integrity Initiative as “state-funded.” This isn’t idle speculation. The Integrity Initiative took pains to mask the nature of its operations. Its listed address was in Scotland, despite actually operating in London. The Integrity Initiative’s funding came from a Scotland-based non-profit, the Institute for Statecraft, of which it operated under as a subsidiary. The Institute for Statecraft presents itself as an independent organization with a wide array of backers, but in reality the vast majority of its funding comes from the U.K. government. In its 2018-2019 fiscal year (running March 2018-March 2019), the Institute reported 2.2 million pounds in income.

How much money did the Institute for Statecraft receive from the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) in that time? 2.2 million pounds! By the way, at the same time, the FCO oversaw both the GCHQ (Britain’s equivalent of the NSA) and MI6 (its equivalent of the CIA).

As venture capitalist Marc Andreessen once asked:

The answer, it turns out, is you, the American taxpayer. Besides receiving funds from the British FCO, the Integrity Initiative also received funds directly from NATO, aka the U.S. taxpayer, in addition to funds from the United States State Department.

Funding wasn’t exclusively government-based, though, because in a fitting symbol of the growing tether between Big Tech and the security state, the Institute did receive a small chunk of money from Facebook, as the above document shows.

Perhaps more ominous than the fact that Facebook funded the Integrity Initiative is the fact that the name Ben Nimmo appears as an apparent member of the Integrity Initiative’s UK Cluster, right there with Nina Jankowicz (see Ben’s name the third from the top in the UK Inner Core Russia cluster).

At the time of the leak, Ben Nimmo worked for a group called the Digital Forensic Research Lab (DFRLab). The DFRLab is a subsidiary of the Atlantic Council, an NGO which is also funded by the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office, NATO, and the State Department. The group brags that it has “operationalized the study of disinformation by exposing falsehoods and fake news.” You know what that means: Nimmo and DFR have become notorious for accusing all sorts of journalists and even random civilians of being “Russian bots.”

The Integrity Initiative’s leaked handbook identified Ben Nimmo’s DFR Lab, along with Buzzfeed and a handful of other organizations, as friendly outlets to rely upon when conducting its influence operations.

What is Ben Nimmo’s current position? If you guessed that Ben Nimmo now works at Facebook and helps to lead Facebook’s global threat intelligence strategy against influence operations, you’d be correct.

You simply can’t make this stuff up!

    Ben Nimmo, “Disinformation Expert”

Nimmo is no stranger to Revolver, and we encourage readers to consult our previous work on Nimmo, the Integrity Initiative, and the disinformation industry here:

Read More: NYT Hit Piece On “Vaccine Cartoon” Backfires and Reveals Plot For New “Russia Disinformation” Scam

The picture that emerges so far is as disturbing as it is undeniable. The Integrity Initiative was a secret, government-funded influence operation that engaged secret “clusters” of journalists and academics to coordinate in order to meddle in the political process of Western democracies under the guise of combating “disinformation” and “defending democracy.”

Not only was the Integrity Initiative funded by national security bureaucracies, it conducted itself in precisely the same surreptitious manner one would typically associate with the world of spooks and espionage. One leaked document advises its reader on how to go about recruiting people for a cluster. It reads far more like an intelligence document than a journalism-related one.

“Be absolutely sure… we can trust them before we talk to them” is a baffling line for a group whose only purpose is to correct “disinformation.” Politifact and Snopes may or may not produce good “fact check” reporting, but we highly doubt they fret about being able to “trust” whomever they share their work with.

But this obsession with trust is quite understandable for a group whose actual purpose is manipulating the public, rather than informing them.

Even more telling are the lines about funding. “Always be firmly vague and helpfully uninformative” about funneling money to cluster members. On the other hand, “be very clear” about the “multiple sources” of funding for the Integrity Initiative, which just happen to include the British government and “international organizations.”

This sense that one is reading an intelligence report also permeates the group’s progress reports. Read the quotes below and ask yourself: Does this sound like a journalism operation, or an intelligence one?

    Integrity Italy

The newly-formed Italian cluster is headed by an Italian professor who is also linked to the Italian Atlantic Committee. He and his colleagues have recently produced a study on Russian influence in and around the recent elections in Italy and are currently working on a study to explain the vulnerability of Italy to Russian influence. The main means of dissemination of information is through individuals in academic positions and through a series of Atlantic clubs – International affairs discussion groups in several cities across Italy. The sensitivities of the political situation in Italy, and the extent of Russian influence in political parties, means that the cluster must develop cautiously, feeling its way and seeking the best means of having a positive impact.

    Integrity Greece

Greece is an especially sensitive country in which to operate, given its current political and economic challenges.

    …

The Athens group is comprised of journalists who operate very discreetly and whose main means of dissemination is articles and a website.

    Armenia

Following the popular, quiet “revolution” in Armenia, we are exploring how we might safely establish an Integrity Armenia. One of the Institute’s Associates who is of Armenian origin is acting as informal adviser to the new PM, MFA and NSA. He is investigating the possibilities, including a journalist friend as a likely cluster leader. The delicate political situation requires that this be done with the utmost caution.

    Czech Republic

As the Czech Republic is well served by the European Values think tank, we have not so far seen the need to establish a cluster there, but have found it more cost-effective to link with this organisation and support its activities. However, given the recent political trajectory of Czech politics, it may become necessary to review this decision in due course.

The “political trajectory” in the Czech Republic, by the way, is the 2018 re-election of anti-immigration president Milos Zeman, who sometimes praised Vladimir Putin, supported Donald Trump’s rise in the U.S., and shared Trump’s aversion to journalists. Far from simply worrying about specific Russian lies reaching the West, the Integrity Initiative is really just worried about wider political developments it vaguely classifies as “pro-Russian.” What this amounts to is meddling domestically in Western democracy’s politics under the guise of combatting disinformation.

If there were any doubt as to the ulterior and disingenuous use of the term “disinformation” for political purposes, we need to look no further than the Integrity Initiative’s own “Guide to Countering Russian Disinformation.” The guide shrieks about the “lies” of the Trump Administration in a tone scarcely different from the most deranged New York Times article. Before saying anything about Russian disinformation at all, the handbook introduces the concept of disinformation with reference to two petty pseudo-fact checks in relation to Donald Trump.

The Integrity Initiative becomes even more suspicious when one looks at how its organizers reacted when hackers brought attention to their work. The Integrity Initiative leaks began on November 5, 2018 and were published on an Anonymous-linked hacker site called Cyberguerilla. The original Cyberguerilla website is now defunct, and our reporting has cross-referenced all documents to downloadable versions of the original leaks available on the archived version of the Cyberguerilla website.

Before the 2018 document leaks, the Institute for Statecraft “think tank” kept a bland website, hosting a handful of sponsored papers and similar work. But shortly after the Anonymous documents leaked, the Institute took down everything, leaving up only a placeholder with a contact form and a notice that it was “temporarily” removing its information “pending an investigation.” And so it has remained for the past three years.

Visitors are invited to visit the Institute’s Facebook (defunct) and its Twitter page (inactive since 2019, with all pre-2019 tweets deleted). Yet despite all appearance of being defunct, it isn’t, as it continues to provide information to Scotland’s charity ministry. Despite supposedly being wholly innocent and aboveboard, both the Integrity Initiative and the Institute for Statecraft have, for all intents and purposes, closed up shop ever since hackers brought attention to their work and Western governments’ support for it.

We at Revolver were struck by how relatively inaccessible the Integrity Initiative documents were, and equally struck with the near total absence of mainstream reporting on what should be the equivalent of the Snowden leaks for the age of “disinformation.” Depressingly, the right seems to have almost totally ignored the story. Instead, coverage of the Integrity Initiative has been largely confined to marginalized (though often high-quality) outlets like The Grayzone, which do great work critiquing the national security state from a left-leaning perspective. We encourage readers to consult existing outside coverage of the Integrity Initiative leaks here and here.

Very little of this, you’ll notice, has dealt with whatever Nina Jankowicz actually did for the Integrity Initiative. This demonstrates an important point: Nina Jankowicz is in fact neither remarkable nor particularly important. She is simply one small cog in a vast machine.

The man in charge of the Institute for Statecraft, and by extension the Integrity Initiative, actually wrote an entire paper suggesting how this machine operates. Before founding the Institute for Statecraft, Chris Donnelly spent 12 years as an advisor to four consecutive NATO secretary generals. In a private memo, written for members of the British foreign office and leaked along with other Integrity Initiative materials, Donnelly describes how in a post-Brexit world the British government might consider privatizing its influence efforts.

In the above document, Donnelly recognizes the notion that a great degree of government work could be contracted to the private sector, which is allegedly more adaptable  to the “speed of global change” — and, more importantly, lacks the full range of “accountability” attached to public servants. It is particularly important for government operatives to avoid accountability when it comes to free speech and censorship issues. An early 2020 article from the Atlantic noted in particular how constitutional constraints like the First Amendment have caused most of America’s censorship apparatus to be outsourced to the private sector (empashis ours):

As surprising as it may sound, digital surveillance and speech control in the United States already show many similarities to what one finds in authoritarian states such as China. Constitutional and cultural differences mean that the private sector, rather than the federal and state governments, currently takes the lead in these practices, which further values and address threats different from those in China. But the trend toward greater surveillance and speech control here, and toward the growing involvement of government, is undeniable and likely inexorable.

    [The Atlantic]

As the leaks above show, organizations like the Integrity Initiative are not exactly “private sector” either, at least in the traditional understanding of the term. As state funded organizations accomplishing state funded “national security” goals, groups like the Integrity Initiative are better thought of as extensions of the security state that have evolved to operate with less accountability. Nina Jankowicz’ own evolution as an apparent member of the Integrity Initiative to the head of a “Disinformation Governance Board” within the Department of Homeland Security attests to the emergence of a public-private revolving door for faithful members of the Disinformation Industry.

In any case, the Integrity Initiative represents the the nature of the modern influence operation. Censorship is far more than just woke employees at Big Tech companies deciding whom to ban and which topics become “trending.” Quietly but also constantly, censorship and narrative control are flowing from the state, taking the form of cutout civil society groups, NGOs, and “networks” that control domestic information under the pretext of preserving national security and fighting “disinformation.” An entire industry– the Disinformation Industry — has emerged to facilitate this process.

Disinformation is part of the Integrity Initiative’s motto for a very good reason. “Disinformation” is the skeleton key of modern domestic propaganda. The regime can now target political movements and specific politicians on the grounds that they are influenced by or in thrall to foreign “disinformation.” Previously purely political questions, like the Brexit movement or Catalan independence or Donald Trump’s reelection, are now assessed as “serving Putin’s agenda.” And now, critically, the coordination of academics, journalists, and public intellectuals to secretly push a regime-backed political line is now justified as the needed counterbalance to “disinformation” narratives.

The Integrity Initiative may be gone, but the Disinformation Industry it helped to birth remains. If Americans want to fight back against censorship and the broader domestic war on terror conducted by their own state security apparatus, it is imperative to understand this Disinformation Industry in full. Strap in — we’re just getting started.

  • Fake News: Rolling Stone Labels ‘Leftist Authoritarian Eco-Fascist’ Buffalo Shooter A ‘Mainstream Republican’

Fake News: Rolling Stone Labels ‘Leftist Authoritarian Eco-Fascist’ Buffalo Shooter A ‘Mainstream Republican’

via Infowars  May 16, 2022 at 02:40PM Fake News: Rolling Stone Labels ‘Leftist Authoritarian Eco-Fascist’ Buffalo Shooter A ‘Mainstream Republican’

Rolling Stone magazine is using the Buffalo shooter as a political cudgel to demonize conservatives, falsely characterizing him as a “mainstream Republican.”

In Rolling Stone‘s article “The Buffalo Shooter Isn’t a ‘Lone Wolf.’ He’s a Mainstream Republican“, the magazine attempts to frame the 18-year old Buffalo shooter as a right-wing white supremacist influenced by Fox News host Tucker Carlson and former President Donald Trump.

“The gnawing fear of a minority-white America has utterly consumed conservative politics for the past half-decade, creating a Republican party whose dual obsessions with nativism and white fertility have engendered a suite of policies engineered to change the nature of the body politic. What unites murderers like Gendron, and the long list of white supremacist attackers he cited with admiration, with the mainstream of the Republican party is the dream of a white nation,” wrote Talia Lavin.

Lavin goes on to argue that Trump’s populist politics and Fox News‘ coverage of white replacement in America set the stage for racist violence perpetrated by the likes of the Buffalo shooter.

“Donald Trump’s ascendance was a key marker of the force of white racial panic; from the moment he launched his candidacy, his overt racism set the party’s agenda, and from the very first, his rhetoric directly provoked racist violence,” Lavin wrote.

“The Republican Party’s embrace of nativism has been more of a full-on dash than a slow slide, and it has been catalyzed by the vast constellation of right-wing media. Chief among these is the juggernaut that is Fox News. As a New York Times analysis revealed, the network’s flagship prime-time show, Tucker Carlson Tonight, has an obsession with replacement theory: In more than 400 shows the newspaper analyzed, Carlson evoked the idea of forced demographic change through immigration and other methods.”

But Rolling Stone glosses over two very important facts.

First, the Buffalo shooter not only rejected conservative politics and media like Fox News, but described himself in a 180-page manifesto censored online as a “leftist authoritarian” and a “green nationalist” who subscribed to communism.

Not exactly the tenets of a “mainstream Republican.”

Second, Rolling Stone claims that the “Great Replacement”, the hypothesis that white people in America are being deliberately and systematically replaced by immigrants and nonwhites, is a “conspiracy theory.”

But the demographic data shows that are whites slowly being phased out as the majority in America due to immigration (legal and illegal) and declining birth rates.

Additionally, the United Nations has even drafted a now-deleted plan called “Replacement Migration” which aims to flood the Western world with 600 million third world migrants by 2050 to phase out whites in the name of combating “aging populations.”

And the Biden administration has vowed to ramp up the release of illegal aliens into the U.S. by a whopping 800%.

To add insult to injury, media pundits and other left-wing zealots openly celebrate these facts, such as Washington Post contributor Jennifer Rubin, who’s praised the decline of the white population in America as “fabulous news.”

CNN‘s Anderson Cooper claimed it’s “exciting” to see the decline of the white population in America.

“The idea that, you know, whites will not be the majority, I mean, that’s — it’s an exciting transformation of the country, it’s an exciting evolution and you know, progress of our country in many different ways,” he said in 2019.

Why does the liberal media celebrate this so-called “conspiracy theory” with divisive rhetoric?

Imagine a scenario where white people openly celebrated the decline of nonwhite races on television. Pretty insane, right?

Well that’s essentially what’s happening, but talking about it puts you in the “conspiracy theorist” and “white supremacist” camp.

Instead of addressing the root of these manufactured demographic changes, which are the radical liberal policies themselves, the Buffalo shooter, unfortunately, chose to embrace violence instead, and that’s terrible for the country, but great for the media to use as a weapon against its political opposition.

In fact, Demcorats are already exploiting the tragic shooting to ram through their gun control, censorship, and surveillance agenda.

It’s all part of the Democrat maxim: Never let a crisis go to waste.

May 16, 2022 at 05:18AM Awful: Liberals Falsely Blame Tucker Carlson for Inspiring Buffalo Mass Shooter

Liberals are falsely blaming Fox News host Tucker Carlson for inspiring the Buffalo mass shooter who killed ten and wounded three others in an apparent racist attack. The alleged shooter who was taken into custody at the scene of the massacre–a Tops grocery store located in a Black neighborhood–is an 18-year-old white male according to police.

Screen image from viral video of alleged Tops grocery store shooter being taken into custody, Buffalo, NY, May 14, 2022.

The shooter allegedly posted a livestream video of the attack as well as a manifesto with a tick-tock of his plan for the shooting that stated his goal of targeting and killing Black people and an explanation of how he became a racist.

    Alleged plan of attack:

Carlson and Fox were defended by conservative judicial activist Mike Davis, “Disgusting and insane that Democrat operatives are already exploiting the murder of 10 by blaming Tucker Carlson and Fox News. The manifesto cites the internet (specific websites) as his inspiration (not TV)—and has an antisemitic meme attacking Fox News.”

Davis posted screen images from the alleged manifesto that says the shooter was radicalized by racist Internet forums, making no mention of Tucker Carlson, Fox News (except for posting an anti-Semitic meme) or conservative media.

That has not stopped liberals from going on the attack.

Former Clinton White House Press Secretary Joe Lockhart, “More blood on the hands of @tuckercarlson and @foxnews this killer used their racist talking points to justify killing 10 people. Carlson won’t stop because as he explained to the NYTimes, it’s good for ratings. Lives be damned. As Carlson will be at judgement day.”

HuffPo’s Philip Lewis, “he Buffalo shooter reportedly believed in the “great replacement theory,” a white nationalist conspiracy theory that Tucker Carlson has defended on his show”

Mother Jones’ Clara Jeffery, “10 People Killed in “Racially Motivated” Buffalo Shooting. White 18-yo drove for hours to massacre Black shoppers. This is where @TuckerCarlson⁩’s “replacement theory” rhetoric leads.”

Liberal activist Brian Tyler Cohen, “NEW: A mass shooter in Buffalo, NY who killed at least 10 people had posted a manifesto online espousing the White Replacement Theory, per @BNONews. White Replacement Theory has been long promoted and championed by Tucker Carlson on Fox News.”

Georgetown professor Don Moynihan, “The gunman who killed at least 10 people in Buffalo is a self-described white supremacist who advocates for the Great Replacement Theory. He left a manifesto. See if you can tell the difference between it and standard fare on the Tucker Carlson show”

Occupy Democrats, “BREAKING: FBI announces that they’re investigating today’s mass shooting in Buffalo as “racially motivated violent extremism.” The shooter left a manifesto citing Tucker Carlson’s “white replacement theory” as his motive. RT IF YOU THINK THAT
    @TuckerCarlson MUST BE INVESTIGATED!”

Meidas Touch, “This is horrifying and it’s important to note: this is the rhetoric being broadcast by Tucker Carlson’s show on almost a nightly basis.”

Media Matters activist Nikki McCann Ramirez links to a MMfA report on Carlson, “This is still a developing story, but the reality is that the great replacement theory no longer lives in the fringes of extremist ideology, it was intentionally mainstreamed by some of the most prominent voices in American politics”

Never-Trumper Rick Wilson, “The Buffalo killer’s manifesto reads like a job application for a junior producer on Tucker Carlson. And no, I’m not being flippant.”

Former Obama official Brandon Friedman, “The Buffalo shooter was radicalized by an ideology propagated each day on Fox News, specifically by Tucker Carlson. This is how the White House treats Fox News.”

Hasan Piker, left wing activist with one million followers on Twitter, “the buffalo shooters manifesto reads like the average tucker carlson broadcast especially on “the great replacement theory” also known as “white genocide”

Payton Gendron: What we know about the Buffalo supermarket shooting suspect

(CNN)The 18-year-old man who allegedly shot and killed 10 people at a Buffalo supermarket Saturday afternoon was motivated by hate, authorities said.

The Tops Friendly Market where the shooting took place is located in the heart of Buffalo’s Black community and 11 of the 13 people shot by the White suspect were Black, officials said.

Mass shooting at Buffalo supermarket was a racist hate crime, police say

“This was pure evil,” Erie County Sheriff John C. Garcia said at a Saturday news conference, calling the shooting a “straight up racially motivated hate crime from somebody outside of our community.”

The US Department of Justice is investigating the shooting “as a hate crime and an act of racially-motivated violent extremism,” according to a statement from US Attorney General Merrick Garland.

Payton Gendron of Conklin, New York, was charged with first degree murder Saturday, Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn said in a news release.

Conklin is about a three-and-a-half hour drive from Buffalo.

    He pleaded not guilty.

Here’s what we know about the shooting suspect.

    He was wearing tactical gear

Authorities say when the suspect arrived at the store around 2:30 p.m., he was heavily armed, wearing tactical gear, a helmet and had a camera that was livestreaming his actions.

The suspect used an assault weapon, Flynn said during the news conference.

In his news release, Flynn said the suspect shot four people outside of the grocery store, three fatally. When he entered the store, he exchanged fire with an armed security guard, who authorities said was a retired Buffalo police officer. The security guard died of his injuries. The suspect shot eight more people in the store, six of whom died, the release said.

He legally purchased gun in New York

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul said it’s not clear if the suspect should have been prevented from being sold a gun in New York State, after it’s emerged the gunman was once investigated over something he had written in high school.

Speaking to Margaret Brennan on CBS’ Face the Nation on Sunday, Hochul was asked how the 18-year-old suspect was able to legally purchase a gun.

Earlier Sunday, Hochul told CNN the gun used in the Buffalo mass shooting where 10 people were killed on Saturday was purchased legally in New York State. Speaking to CNN’s Dana Bash on State of the Union, Hochul said the weapon was an AR-15. She said it’s believed the high-capacity magazine was purchased outside of New York.

Payton Gendron talks with his attorney during his arraignment in Buffalo City Court Saturday.

Brennan asked, “You’ve said it was legally obtained, you’ve also said that the shooter had been, at one point, under the surveillance of medical authorities because of past comments he had made about carrying out a shooting. How was he allowed to buy and to hold on to that weapon?”

Hochul responded, “That is exactly what is being investigated now. I understand that he wrote something when he was in high school and that was being investigated. So we’re going to get to the bottom of that.”

Asked if the sale of the gun was an oversight by the State, Hochul said, “We don’t know that right now. But I’m going to get to the bottom of it and find out right now. It would have happened a while back.”

She added, “Apparently he was investigated when he was a high school student, brought to the attention of the authorities. He had a medical evaluation based on something he had written in school and so we’re going to find out what happened in the aftermath.”

    He allegedly livestreamed on Twitch

The popular livestreaming platform Twitch confirmed Saturday the shooting suspect used its platform to stream a live broadcast during the attack.

The Buffalo supermarket massacre is the latest high-profile mass shooting authorities say was motivated by hate. Here are others

The company said it was “devastated” to hear about the shooting and added the user “has been indefinitely suspended from our service, and we are taking all appropriate action, including monitoring for any accounts rebroadcasting this content.”

CNN obtained a portion of the livestream that shows the alleged shooter pulling up to a Tops store.

The video is recorded from the point of view of the alleged shooter as he is driving into the supermarket’s parking lot. The person is seen in the rearview mirror wearing a helmet and is heard saying, “Just got to go for it,” before he pulls into the front of the store.

In the video, store patrons can be seen walking through the parking lot as the suspect drives up.

A spokesperson for Twitch said the company removed the livestream less than two minutes after the violence started. The company did not immediately respond to follow-up questions about whether the suspect was actively firing when the livestream was halted.

Purported manifesto talks about ‘dwindling size’ of White population

Flynn said investigators are going through a 180-page purported manifesto for clues.

“We are obviously going through that with a fine-toothed comb and reviewing that for all evidence that may lead us to besides the manifesto itself,” the DA told CNN’s Victor Blackwell Sunday afternoon.

“All the evidence that we ascertain from that manifesto, from wherever that manifesto leads us, other pieces of evidence we already had, we can then use that and develop more charges potentially,” Flynn said.

Investigators were reviewing Saturday the purported manifesto posted online, in connection with the shooting probe, two federal law enforcement sources told CNN.

Authorities say the suspected Buffalo supermarket shooter traveled from hours away. Here's what we know

The manifesto, independently obtained by CNN shortly after the attack and before authorities released the suspect’s name, is allegedly written by a person claiming to be Payton Gendron confessing to the attack.

The manifesto’s author says he bought ammo for some time but didn’t get serious about planning the attack until January. The author also goes on about his perceptions of the dwindling size of the White population and claims of ethnic and cultural replacement of Whites.

A portion of the document is written in question-and-answer form.

The manifesto’s author attributes the internet for most of his beliefs and describes himself as a fascist, a White supremacist and an anti-Semite.

Gendron was a worker at the local Conklin Reliable Market for about four months before he left about three months ago, according to the store’s owner. The owner of the store says he was very quiet and left on his own terms, giving two weeks’ notice.

Neighbors say they would see Gendron’s mother regularly walking in the neighborhood. One neighbor said the mother was a nice woman, and they “never would have thought that in a million years” Gendron would have racist views. The neighbor added, “It’s pretty shocking.”

Another neighbor said when you talked to Payton Gendron, “you wouldn’t get more than a word or two” from him.

He made ‘generalized threat’ at high school in 2021

Gendron made a “generalized threat” while he attended Susquehanna Valley Central High School in June 2021, Buffalo Police Commissioner Joseph Gramaglia said Sunday.

In response to a question from CNN’s Shimon Prokupecz at a Buffalo news conference, Gramaglia said state police brought the student in for a mental health evaluation. After a day and a half, he was released, according to Gramaglia.

Gramaglia said the threat was not racially motivated.

Flynn told CNN’s Victor Blackwell Sunday he couldn’t speak specifically to the June 2021 threat Gendron made when he was in high school as it occurred in Broome County. Flynn did say there was no threat that was brought to anyone in Buffalo or Erie County ahead of Saturday’s shooting.

Separately, a spokesman for New York State Police told CNN on Sunday it investigated a report that a 17-year-old student had made “a threatening statement”. The student was taken to a hospital in June 2021 for a mental health evaluation.

The spokesman said state police responded to Susquehanna High School in Conklin, NY, on June 8, 2021, following the threatening statement.

“The student was taken into custody under NYS Mental Health Law section 9.41 and transported to the hospital for a mental health evaluation,” state police told CNN in an email.

State police were unable to confirm how long the individual was in the hospital or the findings of the evaluation. They also refused to name the 17-year-old.

Earlier Sunday, Gov. Hochul also mentioned the investigation into a threat the suspect made in high school. Speaking to Margaret Brennan on CBS’ Face the Nation on Sunday, Hochul said, “Apparently he was investigated when he was a high school student, brought to the attention of the authorities. He had a medical evaluation based on something he had written in school, and so we’re going to find out what happened in the aftermath.”

He will likely face more charges

Gendron was arraigned Saturday evening before Buffalo City Court Chief Judge Craig Hannah on one count of first-degree murder, the district attorney’s news release said.

He pleaded not guilty, Hannah told CNN. If convicted, he faces a maximum sentence of life in prison without parole, the release said.

And there may be more charges coming, officials said.

“My office is working closely with the U.S. Attorney’s Office and our partners in law enforcement into potential terrorism and hate crimes. This is an active investigation and additional charges may be filed,” Flynn said in a statement.

Gendron is set to return to court on the morning of May 19 for a felony hearing, the release said. He will remain in custody without bail, it added.

The suspect made very disturbing statements describing his motive and state of mind following his arrest, an official familiar with the investigation told CNN.

The official said the statements made after the arrest were clear and filled with hate toward the Black community. The alleged shooter made it known he was targeting the Black community during the statements, according to the official.

Investigators have uncovered other information from search warrants and other methods indicating the alleged shooter was “studying” previous hate attacks and shootings.

CNN’s Sharif Paget, Sabrina Shulman and Brian Stelter contributed to this report.

Elon Musk shared instructions on Twitter where someone can see how they are being manipulated by Twitter.

“Illuminaughty” in Musk’s humor is referring to the Illuminati that many have claimed for years are running the world behind the scenes.

Next Musk shared the following about his first tweet directed at Twitter users who are being manipulated by the social media giant.  Musk suggests that these algorithms that put tweets in front of a Twitter user may not be malicious but you may be manipulated by them.

Then Musk shared that there may be bugs in the code which is a reason why Twitter should be open source; this would make the company much more transparent and therefore will increase public trust.
